Heat for the deal but telling people what's in your bag is never a great idea.

Opportunists are everywhere. Even nice towns have rough areas. Also …Opportunists are everywhere. Even nice towns have rough areas. Also contradicted yourself by suggesting that the best course of action is to move while in the same breath stating that this is for people who travel a lot. Fact of the matter is, you give people an opportunity and it’s only a matter of time and not a case of if something happens.

Not a contradiction at all.

I stand by this is for people that travel a lot.

i stand by the fact that if you believe you child is in danger of being mugged in broad daylight because a bag says switch (or contents of this bag is worth £300) you should move.

people are walking round with Watches, phones and keys to cars worth considerably more than this.

I dont ever feel I one logo’d bag away from a mugging.

its a grim state of affairs if people do.

You are right criminals do and strike anywhere very very infrequently

I dont believe a logo on a rucksack will speed or slow down this process.

+1. This is a terrible idea. Don't buy this for your kids.

same price as argos

I hought the whole point of the switch was that it was portable when not docked for use at home, so why have a bag to carry EVERYTHING?

Nice bag ive got one. Heat

Agreed plus the protection doesn't look all that great. would much rather use one of the £7 cases like this or this with any bag

A backpack for a Nintendo Switch? Isn't that a little excessive?

I guess the idea is if you are taking your whole kit, your 25 games, your 4 x pairs of JoyCons, and all the other stuff. Seems a lot of money to be carrying around on your shoulder or back to me. And how often are you going to take all your kit out? I guess someone might on Xmas day maybe?

Might as well give them a sandwich board saying “Mug me.”

I’d steer well clear

Just a duplicate post of this really. …Just a duplicate post of this really. https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/switch-messenger-bag-1699-at-argos-reduced-from-2499-plus-395-delivery-or-free-click-and-collectfast-track-2827976

No, they’re two different bags

Honestly... most kids/young adults carry round a phone worth more than a switch in their hand in plain sight...

If you live in a town where you fear your kids will be mugged in broad daylight for their switch....

MOVE.

Also I imagine this is more for people who travel a lot a take the whole kit with them.. students etc... kids are probably not the target market.

Supermod

Thanks for sharing @stevesteca

I can see it from both points of view but why not just carry a Vita and pull it out first? They'll soon lose interest.

I've read that it is possible to cut the logo off as it is just stitched on.
I'll personally be buying a more portable dock that will fit in my case then I just need to worry about taking the plug

If you do that then you might as well buy a cheaper non branded bag in the first place. There is little special with this other than sized compartments.
