This is the reason I think I'll never buy a switch. How expensive ??!! Could get a cheap windows tablet for games like this, they can be picked up on windows for a few pound

I'm sure the switch is amazing but it's just ripping people off charging this much for games like this!!

It is def more expensive, but the form factor wins it for me. I have this for pc but barely touch that, got this for switch as fancy a little game in bed then in the lounge!

Fair play, could also sit and compare grey market keys to console prices all day long and it would be the same across the board.

Exactly. The switch is the only system that's gaming prices are ridiculous

What? I don't think you got my point. Console games are always gonna cost more than grey market pc keys due to them being bought from countries where they are much cheaper to buy.

Switch actually has constant sales and surprisingly decent reductions on a ton of games most weeks.

If you mean specifically first party Nintendo games? Mario etc. Then yes they hold their value, always have done. But that also means if you ever go to sell them you'll get back most of what you paid for them.

That's not entirely true tho. It's just over priced on third party games too. Here's another comparison for you
39945821-McMSZ.jpgthis game is 8.99 on the Nintendo store...
I never said there weren't other comparisons. But now you're comparing a mobile version of a game that's been out for years to a recent release on the switch. I'm sure it will see similar discounts once it's been out a while.

And mobile is an entirely different marketplace due to people being trained that mobile games are free

We could play this game all day! And 90 % of third party switch games would be available cheaper on other platforms

I believe this is called moving the goalposts
chrisredmayne21/02/2020 06:49

Daft price also!

Well it's not a mobile phone game. Why don't you tell the developers their game should be under£3

I'm pretty sure the game on Android is the same game on the switch. Can play the android game on my TV and on a tablet. Don't need to tell the developers. I'm happy buying it on different platforms, just wish Nintendo wouldn't rip off people as I would love a switch lite since the vita stopped making games.
