Mexican eshop is the cheapest for this game

Mexican eshop is the cheapest for this game

Have you ever managed to buy anything from the mexican shop though? The above works on ALL uk machines/accounts and any UK debit/credit or paypal account. I've tried the mexican, japanese, US & Canadian stores all without success and I've tried them all using several cards as well as paypal. The above method is easy and I don't know anyone who's had issues doing it that way.

Last time I tried from Mexico it wouldn't go through unfortunately.
It’s also only £14 from US store, which I have purchased from a few times 🏼

Was it easy? I've never had a card accepted (at the last payment stage) and PayPal was refused as well....

Yes, the change of location works on any country that Nintendo Europe Cover (EU plus South Africa but maybe more??) It gives you the opportunity to choose PayPal at the checkout (the Norwegian site is in English thankfully). I use a Credit Card with no foreign currency fees but even you get charged 3% like some banks do, it's still a big saving over the UK store pricing for the same game. I've no clue what PayPal charge if you let them do the conversion to £'s

Yeah really easy, all you need is a Revolut card (prepay MasterCard), I’ve got accounts set up on Nintendo for USA, Russia, South Africa and Switzerland and made purchases from them all with no problem

I believe Mexico struggles with Revolut but I’m gonna try later with both that and my Monzo card to see if I have any luck
Main thing is you try to buy on an account which is set for that particular region
Good price and voted hot. From the you tube game play videos this looks rock hard!

You know that you can use the same account for UK/SA/Switzerland/Russia and just switch region online before you purchase? All orders are through Nintendo Europe for those regions. I use the same card for each (much easier) although not seen anything cheaper in Switzerland recently............
I'll do this if there isnt a deal soon. Trying to decide between this and axiom verge for my next switch indie

yeah I read that before i set them up, but also read an in depth guide somewhere which said that it's better to have them as separate accounts, can't remember why, I don't mind its only 4 accounts lol

Also, if people are struggling for USA, you can buy Gift cards from plenty of sites for that region, G2A, Offgamers, Prepaidgamer etc etc

As it came out yesterday I can't see a deal popping up for at least 8 weeks......I hope I'm right as I pulled the trigger after reading the reviews just before posting....

I avoided gift cards because you lose any credit balance if you change countries. Is it easy to have more than one account on your device? Always good to learn new money saving tips

yeah all I did is set up emails with Gmail for each account referring to which region its for, i.e. for USA you could use diverseeshopUS@gmail.com, then create a Nintendo account using that email, setting it up as USA for the region, add that account to your switch and you're all set, just ensure you always keep the account on there otherwise you lose access to the games tied to the account obviously.

Whenever buying from the eShop on the console, your Switch will ask which account you want to access it with, so if you choose your US account it will take you to the US eShop and so on... it will also ask this every time you launch a game but your main UK account will always be the first option so its just a quick button press

So I suppose having multiple accounts works for the gift card method so you don't lose your credit... I knew there was a reason I did this haha

Nice work dude. Thanks.

I was peed off because the UK prices were cheaper on other platforms. This is def a mobile game.

Yeah you can. Just make sure you pay for the game only and leave no credit on there!

I was disappointed with the £18 price and saw it was cheaper on Norway and SA but I've still got credit on my UK account and I can't be bothered with multiple accounts!

The download comes straight away on my device and all games that I have purchased from Norway, Russia (challenging text!) and SA are all on my device. I keep the tab for my account open in safari and I can travel all over the world in a few seconds You just get the prompt to input your password after doing so on the switch. It really is that simple....I've not been in the UK for a while. I just leave it where I am until I want to buy another game. I'm loving it in norway! I only have one account on my switch and this is the one I go travelling with.....

If I buy via Norway etc.. does the game remain properly a part of my Nintendo account so I can easily re-download again at a future time or on another Switch (if I upgrade, replace, break etc..)? Would I need to change regions again for each game to re-download?
I'm currently in Norway, the only game I have to re-download is the Arms demo from the UK. I've not deleted any of the purchased software so don't know......I can't see why not, all purchase confirmations come from Nintendo Europe.
For any novices out there, I just did the region thing for the first time.

- log into your Nintendo account on your browser
- User Information > Profile > Country/Region
- I set it to USA
- open the store on your Switch and voila, it’s changed
- I bought $20 from PCGamesupply for £14.08
- choose Enter Code on the store and, er, enter code
- buy game
- asked for a state for sales tax purposes, I chose tax-free Alaska
- End

Took me all of 5 minutes, and saved £4 over the UK store.

I tested this as I only have the one account. I deleted game and then went to my download area and it was there listed to redownload. No region change needed. Its linked to your account not region.

Adding funds to your account makes it difficult as people have found that when you want to change region either it says you will lose the balance or it just won't allow you to change (would need to contact Nintendo to do so)

Yeah, this mightn’t have been so appealing if it wasn’t an even $20 (ok, $19.99).

You don't need to add funds to buy from Norway, you can pay for the cost of the games ad-hoc. The same applies to SA. Russia etc. I believe it's probably best to open a separate US account as @Maverick_TF suggests to use the @silvercondor method.
