Bear with me on this one.

The Nintendo Switch is from Toys R Us.

At the moment Topcashback is doing 5% cashback on all online purchases at Toys R Us.

In Addition, if you have a Pockit card, they are doing 6% cashback at Toys R Us.

So armed with the pockit card, go through Topcashback, buy the grey switch from toys r us and you get the following cashback

Pockit - £16.20 cashback
TCB - £13.50 cashback

Then on the Game front.

Go to Amazon Germany as they currently have the 3 for 2 on Bluray/DVD/Games.

Purchase
Mario Kart 8
Splatoon 2
Super Mario Odyssey

Cost EURO105.68

Make sure you pay in euros with a card that dosent charge an overseas transaction fee like THIS list from MSE

With using the Mastercard exchange rate as of today

mastercard.us/en-…tmlit comes to 93.36 instead of amazons £96.74 if just buying in GBP.

Overall cost after cashback should be around £333.34.

Hope this helps someone out, and if you want you can also get 4% cashback from Pockit on Argos and 3.15% TCB to go and get the themed wired controllers. Needs must!

**edited to update pricing based on all from Amazon UK**

Feel like this is how martin Lewis would reccomend buying a switch - but only if you've settled your mortgage first 🤣

Complicated but a nice deal if it all comes together.

Just sent my Switch to be repaired with Nintendo so I'm tempted to buy another in the meantime...think I'll have to uninstall the internet to resist the temptation

Not sure if I'm being dumb here, but where/ what are the three games?

Mario Kart 8

...or any three games included in the German amazon 3 for 2 promo. Also possible to get 8 euros off 80 top-up too which wasn't mentioned in OP

Just sent my Switch to be repaired with Nintendo

May I ask what was the issue with the Switch was?

May I ask what was the issue with the Switch was?

Sure, it was a weird one... no sound when waking from sleep but only after being in sleep for a long time (say 1hr+)

Worst of all it was an intermittent fault which didn't happen every time (maybe 80%) and I hate sending things for repair when the problem isn't easy to reproduce. I fully expect to get it back with a note saying 'unable to reproduce fault'

Although to be fair I have no idea how good Nintendo repairs are since I've never had to deal with them before, any idea?

any idea?

I haven't unfortunately, although I should have, had I not been lazy. My Wii U has had minimum use since purchase and even less so now as it pretty much refuses to read any disc I insert. It's a strange one as the discs are immaculate but I've just never been bothered to rectify the issue.

I had an issue with the Switch and its surround sound features - apparently it doesn't work very well with ARC sadly so I've had to use a direct connection to the amp. All of this of course you didn't even ask about so it turns out I'm just rambling

Where did the repair return get sent to?

Out of curiosity, were you using headphones?

I returned a 3DS with a dodgy cartridge port that only played up intermittently (games would stick now and again) and they replaced the port and I had it back within the week!

That's annoying with your Wii U, I remember original Wii had loads of issues with disc dives but not heard of it so much with Wii U. I guess it's out of warranty now?
The return centre was in Windsor iirc & they gave me a pre-paid shipping label which was a nice surprise.

Nah it was sound from internal Switch speakers. I never actually even tried headphones thinking about it that probably would've been smart I tried all the sound related options in the settings menu but to no avail.

Great! That's good to know thanks

I had a Wii U screen repaired, and sent it of to Nintendo. Can't remember where/who fixed it exactly, but it was not Nintendo and they use a 3rd party service for repairs. With regards to repair/time to fix/communication, the experience was very good. Price was not so good though, not cheap.

Incidentally we never ever used or needed the Mic on the Wii U, but when finally getting around to playing Toad Treasure Tracker, there was a level where you needed the Mic and we discovered it does not work! Sound system is otherwise fine mind you. Just leaving that though, is not essential to have Mic and don't think it will be used much now with the Switch about to be used in 3 weeks time.

I have heard on here there is a lot of people unfortunate enough to own 3DS and 3DS XL units, and they are reportedly extremely poor and always breaking, especially the hinges. So there should in theory be a whole bunch of people on here who are able to comment on the Nintendo repair service.

Just added 2 deals together to make this one. Both deals already posted

Like others have already stated. This isn't a deal. OP simply used common sense - took one deal and combined it with another to make a new thread.
It's like saying "offer on apples" + "offer on bananas" = "fruits offer".

Bare in mind toys r us are closing at least a third of its UK stores, this being a knock on effect off the closure of US and Canadian stores.

Nintendo are good at repairs so should ease any fears.

Think the whole using cashback to prop up or as the basis of a deal post is frowned upon and upsets many along with a bit of plagiarising someone's else's deal. I'm not judging the OP, am sure they did have good intentions, but I did vote cold.
