Definitely won’t have the £30 voucher in the box
Wouldn’t bank on getting the £30 voucher.

You cannot absolutely rule it out with Like New items, I have received Like New stock with advertised codes / games on a number of occasions.

If it so happens the £30 voucher isn't included as described, it's pretty easy to argue a case with Amazon on warehouse items to get the applicable cost refunded, they simply don't want the item being sent back if at all possible.

I've had one item in all my time of buying from the warehouse where a Like New PS4 had a COD game missing, the console was completely sealed and untouched, ended up costing £75 once customer services were contacted.

I’ve also had “like new” items in what can only be described as “broken” condition. So I’d definitely say there’s a much higher chance it won’t be in there.

You haven’t dealt with them recently then? They are not the same if they can see you’ve had a previous refund/partial refund.

Depends on whether you speak to them as you would expect to be treated.
Aren't these £239.99 from Asda brand new? That is surely a better deal.

You’re talking to someone who is customer service throughout, I would say 9/10 of my orders have promo credit towards them. However if you get too many refunds (partial or full) they will simply block all your accounts. So the best thing to try and get is promo credit, as that doesn’t have a trigger to block account (asfaik).
Swerve this, second hand switch just means more hassle getting the inevitable joycon drift fixed. Ain't cheap enough for that hassle.

no, you're talking about the new and improved model with longer battery life, this deal is for the old version retro tax.

That's exactly my point, you made specific reference to having to complain. I understand there will be a tendency amongst some to call up and start shouting their mouth off, but I don't.

Case in point, close to £150 of cosmetic items & other goods were delivered yesterday, largely xmas presents. One item had split and ruined the packaging of close to 50% of the order, the enclosed items were still pretty much useable I'd say, I'm talking general marks and staining to outer packaging.. Amazon are sending out replacements, we don't have to send the ruined items back at all, we get to keep the lot. This also happened not so long ago, again, it comes down to your attitude when you make contact.

I dunno, are they? Admittedly Nintendo aren't my thing, don't own one and probably never will, so not overly familiar with the different models and typical deals on these things.
When you can buy the new Switch from Asda at £240, how is this a deal? The voucher?
Older version too meh

None left in my local Asda. Having more in in December 1st! Not necessarily at that price :/
The £30 codes on these expired in September I think it was.

Joycon drift, joycon schmift. This is every Switch post now and it's utter nonsense. If used to be "the Wii U is dead". Thenn the "2DS (1st gen) is better than a 3DS XL because the hinges fall of a 3DS and a crappy flat layout 2DS I'd more robust" BS. Just enough of the perputation of myth, fabrication and exaggeration now. I have 9 of the original joy cons (random odd number I know) and all have been used in rotation, and all are fine. It's simply not the prob or issue is made out to be. Enough please.
I have the new model will sell .if not will return. Was a a wild goose chase but no longer need . Not opened it still brand-new and sealed .

I have 4 joycons and 1 is drifting. just b/c a problem hasn't affected you doesn't mean it doesn't exist for countless other people, I'm not the only person I know with a joycon that drifts.

to speak of my own experience is not to perpetuate a myth.

I don't deny there are instances. There are definitely instance's of some 3DS owners having to replace hinges in the past. What I am saying is such problems are deeply exaggerated. The drift thing gets banded about pretty much every Switch deal for months now, with fabrications and assumptions usually made that it is guaranteed to happen. We are stuck with it now, it has become to ingrained in people's minds now.

I believe so. I saw the deal on here a few days ago and when I checked my local Asda yesterday, they were £239.99 and for a new improved version from what I told.
