Once again, the charcoal grey Switch makes it look like the deal has expired!
Bit feisty in here
I remember paying £140 for the 3DS years ago, so this is a good price for a cracking bit of kit.
Once this gets hacked it'll be great. Games are too expensive now.

Oh Ok thanks

They drop ship into Europe and send on to customer. It's cheaper this way and you do not get hit by customs.

Pointless post.

I've purchased from eglobal and had no problem.

If anyone is concerned, I've heavily used my Switch Lite and there is no drift issue (unlike the Switch Joycons...)

Spot on
Isn't the Switch called switch as it can change from handheld portable to full console? If so the switch lite should be called the switch not!

Unfortunately all that proves is that YOU don’t have Switch Lite drift, not that there isn’t a problem with all Switch Lites.

Having said that, I’ve had two Switches with Joycons stretching back to day 1. Not encountered any drift issues yet, so think the problem has been slightly overblown. Reading all the stories you would think that drift was inevitable after a few months!

Won't be soon that it gets hacked if it ever does.

Best to get an Original Switch is people want to hack their system.

I can't see the switch lite getting cheaper than this on black Friday from a UK seller (I stacked codes to get mine from very for £154).

Ive been baffled by the high prices the PS4 has maintained. By this point in the PS3's life cycle the 15gb slim was selling for £115. I reckon you might get a bundle deal on the PS4 but I can't see the base console getting much cheaper til the PS5 comes out.

If your interested in a refurbished PS4 then amazon warehouse quite often has a 20% sale around late december/early january when a refurbed PS4 can be as low as 140ish but they stock can be low and variable cosmetic quality.

PS4 can be had for cheap if people wait for the right deal. I bought mine when Horizon came out. Was around £210 with extra controller and newly released Horizon.

Yes.

It's 'Lite' on the switching between handheld and TV mode. But it plays Switch games. Better it retain the Switch name rather than something different which could cause confusion like the 2DS/3DS.

These are only going to get cheaper. Standard deal price is around £170 and we’ve had a few deals from eglobal for less than £160. If they can drop the price now, they’ll be able to drop it later.

Agreed, I picked up a 2 week old unit from someone desperate to sell (and upgrade to the full Switch) for £120. Not saying it compares to a new deal but just that there's only one way the prices are going to go on these over the course of the year.
I purchased something a few years back from e global and was fine

I got my PS4 in the Argos deal (referred to in another reply) same deal. It was £199.99 and included Horizon Zero Dawn and an extra controller, and it was over 2 and a half years ago.

Since that time I haven't seen any (widely available) deal as good as that, never mind better.

And thinking about it now there is a fair chance that it just can't happen, if the manufacturing costs don't allow for it. The PS3 only got really cheap when it was the crappy ultra-slim without storage (barring a tiny bit of flash). It just isn't feasible to launch a PS4 without a hard drive or large SSD, thus preventing that obvious cost cutting measure.

If it were possible to cut costs on storage then maybe Sony could justify a new die-shrink mainboard design and stick it in a cheapo case (a PS4 ultra slim), but perhaps, without being able to do that, a new die-shrunk mainboard and cheapo case/top loaded optical just wouldn't save enough (in manufacturing costs) to justify the expense incurred in putting it together.
Picture confused me for a second, I thought the deal was expired because of the colour

Was available on release with Zelda Link's Awakening for £199 from Currys. And many other game bundles were available around that time for that price on here. *Also, until just recently Tesco had £199 console + choice of game offer.
FYI this deal post isn't UK Version console so would come with a different country's plug charger.

How many proper games does this have now ? Is it worth me asking Santa for one ? Or will I just play one maybe 2 games then use it as dust catcher , like the Wii and Wii U ?

I know of Mario / Zelda / New Luigi game
