I’d go direct to Nintendo, pay the £15 extra for a case and a 2 year warranty.

When my launch PS4 broke 18 months after I bought it on launch day I tried my luck with them for a return. They no longer did the kill zone bundle with the PS4 camera that I had bought so they picked up the PS4 and gave me a full refund of £450. I'm not joking, I was shocked they didn't even argue it.

Fantastic. I’ve had some lucky things happen with amazon too. But we’re talking about a valid warranty not trying ya luck. 🏻

Grey also in stock
I got this deal just before the lockdown (in grey), literally an hour before it shut up shop. It’s a great little console and I’m getting more use out of it than the full size switch as only ever played it in handheld mode.

I don’t miss the rumble feature and I don’t find it difficult to hold for extended periods as some on previous deals seem to find. I guess it’s just down to personal preference and your situation with TVs etc with everyone at home

Heat!

Couldn’t agree more.
I had the TV Dock switch previously and in my house just found I very rarely used it or got to use it.
Battery lasts plenty for how much I use it. 5 year old son manages to hold it and use it just fine for his wee shots on Mario Odyssey.
I would say if anything I find it easier to hold, especially weight wise.
Some games like Zelda I wish I could still play on the TV time to time but generally I don’t feel like I miss out that much.

I'd go with Amazon, warranty procedure was a nightmare for me with Nintendo, no switch for 5 weeks.

But the point is, in a years time you won’t be able to use that warranty with amazon.

I agree but I have had loads of experiences like that with Amazon. The chances are if you are nice to them they will sort it
Might be a silly question but if you buy games from eShop can you download on multiple Switch's.
It's so typical. My son wants this for his birthday... But wants the blue one, why can't his favourite colour be yellow?

Great deal heat added!

One will be the main switch, the other switches will need to be connected to the internet to play them to validate it! I have my switch lite as my main switch and normal switch as secondary as that just stays in the dock now ^_^

Oh yeah sorry about that. If you wouldnt mind getting just the console alone, the blue one is still available on amazon for 199 quid!
Got an original switch, up until recently most of the games I've played have been handheld mode only (so a lite would do) but sometimes having the ability to Dock +use the separate controllers is better (eg just got ring fit adventure, which needs a proper switch console/joycons)
What are the joy cons like on these they break and drift on original switch a nightmare what if they break easy on this coneole would be unplayable would like to buy one for my boy but this reason is worrying
