The demo for this isn't really representative of the full game at all. It gets much better and opens up to a fantastic game which is tough but very well made and fun.
Wish it was this price for physical, it's crazy overpriced.
I always thought the game this is based on was average and The Dragons Trap was the superior game. It's a welcome option on Switch and would love to see remastered version of the original Wonderboy game which is really just a standard platformer.

Paid £34.24 for an imported physical copy alongside enter the gungeon (£68.49 total) which included import fees and shipping. Good price to me.

Dragons Trap was a great game on the master system but Wonderboy in Monster world on the megadrive was on another level!
Would love the physical version of this myself. Really enjoyed the demo
The physical version wasn't released in the UK last time I checked.

This isn't based on a game though? Dragons Trap is a remake, this isn't. It's an original game that took years to develop - a successor to the original series.

That's stretching it for me saying it's an original game. I specifically didn't describe it as a remaster or remake, and specifically described as a "based on" as that seems reasonable.

If everything is made from scratch then it's an original game. What are you saying it's based on? That's like suggesting it's an unofficial clone (with copied design and puzzles) rather than a sequel.
