Yes the Joy-Con controllers do get drift. Nintendo fixed mind for free ages ago, albeit I do have accidental damage warranty which covers things that aren't accidental outside of the manufacturer warranty.

Apparently Nintendo will fix Joy-Con drift for free now or something regardless of whether they're still in warranty or not. I've only had drift on my left Joy-Con, never my right so far.

I primarily use the Pro Controller now anyway and haven't had any drift issues with that, I only use Joy-Cons for games that require them or if I'm playing using handled mode
I'm holding out for the updated console with better battery

Is it? I only read an article briefly, I didn't know that

A bit p##s poor on Nintendo's part . They know there's a problem but yet they're only fixing the ones in America. What about us on the other side of the pond

I just contacted Nintendo and got thee response that they won't repair for free out of warranty. Hopefully they'll open up the borders a bit on the free repair.

Think they are but not in the UK.Pay the most but treated like dirt.
Not so sure this is that great of a deal. You can buy a brand new one with a £30 eShop voucher and game worth £40+ for £279-£299. I’d rather spend the extra £20.
