The WiFi strength goes from bad to appalling when you dock the console. It's like 20% the strength of my Galaxy S4 WiFi, which isn't particularly great in the first place. I have set the IP of my switch to static and forward every port on the router, and still getting WiFi disconnects and crippling download speeds when I'm not in the same room as the router. Hopefully a software update can could fix the issues. It's reminding too much of the iPhone 4 though!

Genuine question, without knowing the answer either way - when you say "a lot" of Switches, do you mean yours and a few others you've read about online? It's only fair to know before making claims about how widespread an issue it might actually be.

Shame it's download copy, I'd rather a physical cartridge so I could sell on after.

Digital games make a lot of sense on portable consoles.

If you’re a student you can buy from Nintendo UK store around same price besides the game will be physical. Switch+Game(Zelda probs)+Case+Amiibo+Screen protector is £349. Then you can apply for %10 student voucher (student beans) as well. I prefer that bundle since it provides 1 extra year in terms of warranty. (edited)

Hmm it's tempting, think I prefer the nintendo build your own deal. Although my head is saying you can't justify any bundle as it won't get used enough due to kids/wife/work.... then again I could quit work, the kids do go to school/nursery so there is a few potential hours to play and my wife would have to work twice as much to make up for my lost income so she would be out of the equation too

I don't know if this is just Nintendo servers are not though or my switch is faulty. I'll have to have a look at the wifi strength next time

A visual representation of Nintendo’s online infrastructure.

    Decent spot.

On a side note - I'm running a discussion regarding picking up the newest Edge magazine today which has the world's first review of Odyssey...yes.

Personally I'd pay a few £ more and get the limited edition Mario red version.

I bought a switch from game last week for the same price and it came with a physical copy. It's a great game and a good option for first game if you won't buy another for a while.

My Bros one has this issue.
(he has the neon red/blue edition at launch)
One of the pads (blue I think) looses sync
He said looking it up its widespread and Nintendo won't replace or repair

I'd definitely recommend some research before getting the neon colour one (edited)

How exactly does it work with these digital games?

What is the internal storage capacity of the switch?
I guess you can buy expandable storage for the switch, right?
is it easy to see a breakdown of the storage in use. E.g which games are taking up how much space? like on the PS4?
And finally, can you just go back to nintendo store and easily, re-download previously deleted titles?

    Sorry for the late reply.
There are posts on Nintendo switch Reddit with hundreds of replies about poor WiFi speeds and dodgy connections on the switch. It probably doesn't effect 1% as hundreds into millions, but it's still a concerning problem. Update 3.0 was suppose to solve the problem, but I'm still having a terrible time with It even after the update.
