I doubt this is the improved battery version.
If it is the improved battery version then it is a good price, but if not it is a poor price in my opinion, not saving much on the price of new. The difficulty is that I think they ship a mixture of both. I ordered before on a 20% off code from this very listing and before they put the price up and got an original version, with accessories in a generic box. Then they got more stock, raised the price and a different code was in use and people were getting a complete mix of original and the new improved models, and a mix of generic boxes and original boxes as well.

unless its the special versions with the right serial numbers, wink wink
Only worth it if these are as stated above , other wise not , they were £199 a few months ago

You saying that, my ones I bought from this seller (ok I bought two using the 20% discount a couple of months back before they put the price up), both v1, one was definitely old enough according to the serial number, the other was borderline. Checked the borderline one and it was patched but it was on its original firmware, meaning it is still viable, but I paid somewhere closer to £160 each.

In terms of condition, mine were above average, a few small scratches here and there, a couple on the edges of each screen but nothing that affects the use of them, cleaned up and put cheap glass screen protectors on them as well.

If you really need better battery life get one of these

There was a Switch (just the tablet) for £135, before the code.

Decided against it as it was highly scratched, worn battery and no accessories (just power lead)

Someone has bought it though as it's gone now.

Cool (irrelevant) story!
With scratches and poor or no original packaging and no games I think I will wait or just pay 279 from currys online
£212 without joy cons
Last time Argos sold refurbs (pre refresh) they went for 189. I'm not saying this is a bad deal because of that, just giving a past offer for comparison. I bought my first switch during that deal and it was like new.

Argos stuff is always good, they sold a lot of refurbs for £250 a few days back (yes they hiked the price up at Xmas too!)

This seller is always hit and miss but I got the newer version from this seller in as new condition a couple of months back under £200 with a code. Got a great Rift S for £239 with code and previously a Vive Pro under £500 (I hated the fit and sold on)

Nintendo shop is the cheapest at the moment with the 10% code (£251)
