365games currently has the Neon red/blue Switch for £277 (also available in grey for £1 more)

On purchase you'll receive 40,000 player points worth £40 which you can use on your next purchase e.g: Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Splatoon 2, Mario Odyssey all are which £42.99 which brings the total cost to £279.99 (free delivery)

Now here's where the waiting comes in...you have to wait 7 DAYS after your Switch has despatched to use your player points. Free delivery takes 3-6 days so you'll be waiting a little while anyway, unless you need your Switch immediately this is a fairly good deal i think.

I can understand if people wouldn't want to wait but this deal does give you more freedom to choose what games you want in your bundle.

Feels a bit like guerilla marketing..

3% cashback through Quidco for new customers as well, saves an extra £8 on the console.

Just a quick note to say that you will not receive £8.60 for purchasing Xenoblade in 7 days time. That is from the Black Friday promotion that has upped the points to 20% or price, instead of 5%. Therefore you will actually get an additional £2.15.

The deal itself is great though for anyone who hasn't like the games in other bundles offered so far.

This is completely incorrect. To get £40 off using points, you have a minimum spend of £200. Well that's how I read it on their site, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just contacted 365games and yes, you need to spend £200+ as a separate transaction to redeem the points. Doh!

Yes but the switch is £277 which when you buy you'll get the points, then you wait and buy the game you want 7 days after so it totals £279.99 if you select a £42.99 game it's just nice that you get to choose your own game in this offer.

Cheaper at Tesco

Now add a new game to that price = more expensive.

Unfortunately witcherblue is correct as per: 365games.co.uk/points. What a silly reward system.

It still won't work. In order to get the points, you need to buy the switch. Then in order to spend those points, you need to spend £200, you can't use them to take money off any transaction.

Hope this helps clear things up

@GhostShell Could you re-expire this to save anyone going for it thinking they will be able to use the points to buy a game

I did see that but i thought it was a one time £200 buy, they are very sneaky about it. I've finally got hold of customer services and can confirm you are right, sorry about the doubt.
