Just don't know weather or not to wait for Black Friday or Christmas or just bite the bullet now and get one while they are available? :s

I'm gonna wait. See what Black Friday brings. Tempted by the GAME deal with the Mario games though.

you could order from Amazon and return it if Black friday is rubbish?

I don't see any outstanding BF deals for Switch Console Bundles, but I sincerely hope I am wrong, like many I would buy a 2nd Switch if there was an amazing buy. I expect it will be XB/PS consoles getting the good discounts.

Reckon the Switch BF deals will be more focused on the games/joy cons/accessories etc.

yes

i can't see any BF deals reducing these much, the past few days a lot of bundles have been posted which seem like the best you are likely to get this side of Christmas

I ordered mine from Very on Monday with a 10% off code which was delivered yesterday, only cost me £250 which i am happy with

although I am annoyed cos now they have a deal where you can get £50 back on your purchase haha

but for people who don't want to order from them the OP's post is a good deal nevertheless

It's like I said on another thread, I can't believe ALL stock of Switches is going to disappear between now and BF. So, do you buy one now on one of the good deals floating around and then potentially be gutted come BF when there's a real great deal? Or do you wait on the understanding that there may not be a ground-breaking deal come BF, but deals like this one will still be around. I can't see retailers putting prices UP on BF. They'll stay the same or come down!

I'm waiting til BF. It's hard as I really want to play Mario Odyssey right now. But I'd be gutted if I bought one now then £20-£30 (or maybe even more) is knocked off on BF! I know that may seem unlikely to some, but I'd rather wait and see!

Cancelled my day one Switch pre order, spent the money and regretted it ever since. Now I’m locked in the sub £200 never never club.

If you are going to look at Amazon for a Switch is worth looking at the .ES, .DE, .FR etc European Amazon websites. The prices are all different.

I just found I can get 2 yellow joy cons from Amazon Spain for £61.71 delivered. Would cost me £69.99 on Amazon UK.

You didn't listen to hardcore XB/PS gamer Switch bashers on here did ya?

This is more expensive than a ps4 ? Why . Nintendo is just a gimmick

That £50 off deal seems to be only with bundles and all of them are now on "pre-order" only! :-(

Sorry but cold. It's only £10 off and black Friday is right round the corner. Even though the Switch never sees much discount, I am sure there will be something better than this. Bundle deals will probably be better value and since you would surely want at least one game to play on it they probably make more sense, especially since downloading games if pretty much off the table thanks to that puny 32GB....

Yeah mine said Pre-order only and said should be dispatched by 1st December, ordered Monday as wasn't in a rush for it, it got dispatched Wednesday and then delivered yesterday so not too shabby for me as a first time customer

You can use Micro SD cards for extra storage, some good deals on big storage ones as of late too, also, heard Mario Odyssey is only about a 4.5gb download so can fit a few games on there before having to purchase extra

People keep saying black Friday but what they are forgetting is this console is still selling like wildfire so why are retailers going to cut the price by much. I was lucky enough to get a Tesco bundle with the 20% staff discount and sold the games with it so I paid £193 but had I of not got that i wouldn't be holding out for maybe a £10-£20 knock down price

Huh? you don't need a time machine to go into the future a few weeks, just a tiny bit of patience will do! I think buying any technology and gaming related item is probably not a great idea right now, unless the deal is truly exceptional, which £10 off a £280 console hardly is.

I make no attempt to hide the fact in my view Switch is well overpriced. It's £200 worth of tech sold at £280, simple as, even some of the retailers e.g. Gameseek thought it would land at £200....

Don’t forget your favourite 2ds will get deals too

Could you break down that £200 costing, pls?

BTW, I doubt Gameseek's £200 error came from evaluating the CoGs, more that they gambled it was the price point they felt Nintendo would have to hit to be competitive and wanted to get pre-orders in before other retailers.

They gambled wrong! :P

you do if you are comparing it to a deal you can buy now, versus a potential deal that may not happen.....

The switch being over priced is irrelevant ( I agree on its price!) but what it costs to buy now.

Hmm, interesting but still £80 over priced IMO. Will be interesting to see what bundles appear over BF. Has the Switch got cloud saves yet

If he can, he should publish his calculations as it would get significant press coverage. To date, nobody has come up with any credible costs that even come close to £200 in value.

Simply Games don't charge £5 for postage. I bought a neon one 2 weeks ago and got it delivered next day at 0930 by DPD. You can pay extra £10 to get it delivered between 0830-1030 but I didn't and it still arrived at 0930.

So, cold.
