Pretty good price, IMO. CDKeys are £5.99, as we speak. Worth adding, the one year sub at £14.85 is still the better value if you are subbing for long runs. But if you need a sub for a short time, this will cover you for 3 months for less than the price of a pint*.

Switch Online is rubbish. The SNES and NES games aren’t worth it.
Splatoon 2, Mario kart and now the added bonus of having retro nes/snes games are the only reason I pay to go online.

In your opinion. Some of us think it is worth it.

Sure but compare it to ps plus or xbox love the amount of free full priced games per month and their services it’s not even comparable

I mean it's £1.25 a month which is nothing, you're definitely getting more value than that.

I paid something like £4/year for my Nintendo online. Having access to the gems from SNES days I'm happy with for that cost.
I don't use the online feature, thought I would've used it more but not done a single online match.

Ultimately people are paying for games that should be free on the platform regardless. I have most of the games on the wii u that i purchased but classic nintendo doesn’t care about me carrying them over
If you buy two yearly memberships for 14£ do they stack. So 28 for two years?

I agree. Nintendo and carry over is pathetic.
I had the 3da and it's ambassador membership. Sold my 3ds without knowing you had to transfer the games manually to a new system....
So when I got a 3ds XL I lost all my games. I contacted Nintendo and was told the above. Like why isn't it treated like a digital sale item...

because like all DLC you don’t own them. I tell this to people about itunes if they decide to remove them you can’t do anything. You have no rights for the items. I bought a lot of GBA games on the Wii U I would have expected to port them to the switch but no. Why? Because they want to charge people for switch online. Same with Wii Virtual console. I have lots of gbc games on my 3ds that I can’t port too. They are a joke hence why i won’t pay for an online mode just to get those things.
signed up for the free trial through amazon prime and have to say so far its pretty disappointing.

downloaded the snes and nes emulators and the tetris game but seems little else on there worth downloading

was expecting more packs etc. for extisting games that might be available
Great value if you only want a few months. I don't play online, but this is so much better value than the Xbox gold and ps+ subscriptions. It's like have a NES and SNES mini!

Yes you can stack up to 3 years I believe

Absolutely. If you don't like Nintendo games the switch probably isn't the console for you lol.

I'm in a family membership with 7 other ppl, and pay about £3.50 for the year, so for the cost a pint I don't care what's it like

Someone with some sense. People just pay for no reason because they think it’s ok price yes but for what you get it’s terrible

for a year yeah £3.50 fair enough
£1.99 for a pint in weatherspoons, voted cold cause you can't beat £1.99.

I thought for the Switch the games do transfer over. If you buy a new Switch and login with your account, the games will appear. Is that not the case?
the two nintendo game vouchers for £84 deal you can access while subscribed isn't bad at all in certain circumstances. i let a family member set themselves up as a second switch so i can share my games with them, so digital games have a little more value to me. last I checked you can buy eshop credit from cdkeys with a 10% discount, so for £81 you get two games and I think about £8-9 total in change and reward points. not entirely sure on the reward points, haven't tried to spend them.

i think buying physical is still much cheaper if you're willing to sell your games once you're done with them, first party nintendo games tend to hold value on the secondary market and seldom go on sale. but if you have a couple of switches it can be worth it in my opinion.

Switch games do.
But only one account login in at a time.

But if you buy the Wii u version of the game it doesn't give you the switch console.
When can we buy the SNES controllers from the Shop? Released already and in America still waiting...
I went for this as I got a switch a couple of days back and want to see if it's worth a years sub.
