Most comfortable controller around.
Best controller I have ever used. Don't miss analogue triggers, only actually useful for driving games.

I now prefer to use this on my PC also

Lifesaver (well, hand-saver) for playing Mario Tennis. Incredibly comfortable. Shame about useless D-pad.
For some reason I'm worse with this on Splatoon compared to playing with the joy cons.

I don't use the motion controls and the analogue sticks on the joy cons feel better for that certain game (at least for me)
It really is a top quality controller. The face buttons feel great to press, they're the stand out for me. The sticks are silky smooth too, just the right amount of resistance.
This with the scuff paddles on the back is my dream!
I use my old Wii u controller on the PC, it's still my fav pad but this is a close second

Is this Bluetooth, thinking of my Nvidia Shield...
Still holding out for a possible Pokémon version if they ever decide to release one
Just bought the splatoon 2 controller for my switch (and pc). It’s a really comfortable controller. I’ve only two complaints about the triggers and the lack of an audio jack. But those are minor complaints.
2nd best controller I've ever held. GC being the first, naturally.
Got one the other week for 52, having scoured high and low knowing id seen it for this sort of price, most expensive pad ive ever bought but my hands were dying playing hollow knight and its so comfortable i know ill use it for a lot of others, was trying to hold out for a v2 / dpad fix but doesbt seem to be coming!
Is this better than the 8bitdo sf30pro?

The Switch Pro pad is many, many times more comfortable. Like, it's not even close. Leagues ahead.

The 8bitdo controller is still very nice mind, but it's more of a retro appeal than one you'll want to use every day. The analogue sticks are a bit close together, it's a bit small. But the build quality is top drawer. For games that mainly use the dpad it's fantastic, and it's a lovely item.

But if you want one for your main controller, go for the Switch Pro without a doubt.

Cheers buddy. Only looking for a good pad to play the street fighter 30th anniversary collection as the dragon punches are very difficult to do with the joy cons! Might use the analogue sticks for the odd mario kart game
I'm curious how this compares to the remarkably similar looking Xbox 1S controller and Xbox 1S Elite controller? Is this Switch controller better than them? And is it lighter also?

And could you use this controller on Xbox 1S/1X using some kind of adapter?
Still not feel the need to deviate from the joy cons on a comfort grip. Options, flexibility, holds a long charge, and comfort. The only downside is no proper D-pad.
is this wired or wireless?

I think the Switch controller is significantly better, it has a real weighty, quality feel to it, the buttons are much better, the dpad is a vast, vast improvement and I prefer the analogue sticks..... so I think its better in pretty much every respect really.

The xb1 controller is still good though, just not quite as good for me. But I don't think there's any way to use a Switch controller on Xbox, not to my knowledge anyway.

I use an adapter for an old wired Xbox360 controller, it works alright. I've never owned a Switch Pro controller due to the price. But i'd love to.
I have seen adapters for the 1s/x controllers - how well they work I don't know. Drop a google, not sure if I'm allowed to link here.
This is the only control pad that i go to that ends up being completely flat after charging it fully and returning 2-4 weeks later “/
Ordered one last night, looking forward to trying it out. I’ve used the joy-cons in comfort grip on a few occasions but felt the balance wasn’t right for me, just a little too “floaty”.
