Absolutely shocking that Nintendo took so long to fix the D pad issue. The issue shouldn't be there in the first place for a £60 controller. Shocking.

Still would have been nice to get the xenoblade one since it has a working D-pad.

Apparently it's still not perfect so I'm gonna hold out for the next one. Already returned one for Dpad issues. Shame because other than that it's a really nice controller

it's still not fixed?
I'd be tempted but every time these come up I hear about the D-Pad issue, hard to believe its taken them so long to fix it. Apparently the newest controllers have fixed some of the issues but they're still not perfect.
what is the dpad issue exactly? I've had a controller since the middle of last year, but I haven't noticed anything

From what I've read online, for some people the D-Pad registers unwanted Up and Down inputs when pressing Left or Right.

Nearly dropped a wedge of cash on this until I read about this D-Pad issue. Think I'll hold out a little while more...
I still can't believe it doesn't have an earphone port for the price. I have one great controller and not had issues with the D-Pad to be honest.
cool
I've had this for a few months and never had any issues with the D-Pad.

Is it just luck then? I got the xenoblade controller a few months ago and had no issues with the d-pad?

yep lots of people have no issue, seems random. nintendo accept warranty returns for the dpad issue so i guess that shows they know it's an issue
Had £20 worth of amazon vouchers to spend so gone for this finally. Hot deal.

With my 8bitdo, this and the joycons, 4 player mario kart is finally back since my days with the n64.
Nice one, just in time for Bayo 1 and 2 being delivered tomorrow as well

The Xenoblade controller has a different dpad which is their test to fix the issue I think?
You should keep an eye in one of the closing down Toys R Us stores. Managed to snag one with 30% off the RRP of £50, costing me a staggering £35.
£50 for a freaking controller!?
