sorted bypeople that are comparing to Xbox one & PS4 are missing point. this is a handheld with a tv dock.
the power for a handheld is a game changer.
absolutely love it.
great price for this controller, ordered.
I'll never understand this. Something being the cheapest at the moment does not automatically make it a "hot deal" - which is what you are voting on. It just makes it a "cheapest at the moment deal"! Would people still be voting hot if it were £120 which might be the cheapest price you could get it? Of course not.
It is the cheapest price for this i have seen so far, so i have voted it hot.
It's a warm deal really. I'm glad that some people do give these heat because I often search this site to find the best price for things. But it would get ridiculous if these "deals" all went super hot.
And Nintendo hate. Graphics are everything today seemingly.
No it's the 4th cheapest console of all time. People seem to think these companies are charities and shouldn't apply inflation.

Edit: Also got £3 cashback on the controller through Quidco

also that was yesterday. if you didn't buy it then this is the cheapest you can actually buy now, unless you can point me somewhere else?
It depends, if it's the cheapest but too expensive for my budget then I wouldn't vote. This is HotUkDeals and not HotUKReviews.
Agreed. Personally, I think XboxOne/PS4 controllers are hot at around £30+ or so. This controller's got a bit more inside it, so I'd say around the £40 mark would make it a good deal. This is just a shade under a quite pricey RRP, so for me, not a particularly "hot" deal.
Yeah standard delivery, it said Tuesday but got next day. Was really chuffed!
Yeah, £55 at Game so exactly the same price. It's actually pretty impressive given the way the pound has dropped since 2013. But people have short memories for this sort of thing.

The RRP of the PS4 controller was £54.99 at launch.
The RRP of an Xbox One wireless controller was £59.99 at launch.
Too expensive for all 3 really...but the price for this really isn't out of the ordinary for launch day (especially considering the additional costs of HD rumble/a NFC reader being built-in).
I agree... once you get your head around the fact that this is a HANDHELD console with a dock, and ignore the "ooh, it's not as powerful as ps4/xbone etc blah blah" nonsense you realise how brilliant this (handheld) game console is! LOVE IT.
That huge super bright and sharp handheld screen, playing Zelda, on the bog. Priceless moments
i think this will be its saving grace, if it was a standalone console it wouldn't hold against microsoft or sony, however because it is no effectively an extremely powerful handheld console, it should sell like hot cakes
FINALLY some one who gets the switch
Good on you, yet to try zelda yet as of work and trying to dodge spoilers
Ill never understand your lack of understanding - something being the cheapest its available for is by definition a hot (uk) deal. Your "illustration" is stupid, its not £120, its £54.99 for a product on sale everywhere else for £59.99
only for new customers with a code so that wasn't much of a deal
Nice review
Well... you've got to take into account the quality of the item! Again, if 50% of users are conplaining of faults, bad connectivity etc. then even if it were being sold at £20 and the cheapest by miles, I'd not vote hot. Because to me it still wouldn't be a hot deal!
You just register again and type the 5 letter code - to get £30 off - very very easy to do. About a good a deal as I have seen on here and I had nothing to do with it.
*oh lol I found it it's in the games section for some reason

Your switch controller from grainger games?standard delivery?

Plus, that was for new customers only - and Very tend to be pretty good at spotting duplicate accounts.
The Switch is a bloody expensive prospect isnt it!
