I want one of these for my new Switch but it's pretty over priced for what it is. 😝

Paid 46 quid during bf weekend, still overpriced at £46 though

I'm finding that I prefer playing with the two joy cons detached. You can have both of your arms rested at your sides while playing. I now find it restrictive when i pick up by xbox controller.

I may as well leave the above comment though, as it has the link.

Where they get £60 for this when the Wii U pro controller was £30 is beyond me

sheer madness...

Nintendo's on some strong stuff wi their prices

Just pure fleecing....naughty Nintendo :0(

Just got a switch & I'm quite happy playing Mario Oydessy & Kart with the joycons. Are you guys playing games that are better with the pro? As right now I can't really see a use for one.

Honestly guys, unless you have massive hands, the grip adapter that comes with the switch is decent enough. I wouldn't buy this until it drops heavier, and it will because it's just a controller at the end of the day.

It will stay at the high price the more people that buy it.

I was using my joycons while waiting on a Pro and thought I didn’t need one but then it arrived

Tenner difference in RRP from Sony and MS controllers and MS has elite controller at £100 and everyone says Ninentendo is ridiculous. £10 is no big shakes really. Especially as people pay £40 for a Xbox one and then need batteries or a plug and play kit on top at £16

what device are you posting this from, something that made them profit? Nintendo's mark-up on the Switch is very very low. One joycon alone cost $45 to make

So once again we have the 'Nintendo should be a charity' posters in here

Joycons cost $45 each to make. DualShock 4 in 2013 was estimated at $18, while the Xbox One’s controller was only $15.

as it happens I do still love the quality of the old Nintendo controllers. glad they didnt cheap out. Have you ever heard of inflation by the way?

Here's the *independent* link of the costs, problem with that?

I’m not sure it’s the Nintendo fan boys that are having issues seeing facts here. It’s the Mr Cliches spouting “Nintendo tax” comments when an Xbox controller with plug and play batter costs more than this controller

you being serious? I've seen the pads as low as 30,and play and charge kit 10! and btw this price for the Nintendo pad is meant to be an offer! right then, jog on

Or you could go retro with the soon to be released 8Bitdo SF30 PRO 😁

Actually it has amazing motion controls and haptic feedback built in. Xbox one controllers dont have either and the price of those isn’t far off.

Out of stock but I saw this posted on here once. I kept a hold of the item and it came back in stock.

ebay.co.uk/itm…940

£49 is the cheapest I have seen.

Still no reason for this to be more expensive....well known fact that Nitendo simply like to charge more for their stuff....Why? Cos it makes them more money.....This controller should be no more the 30quid! It would be interesting to know the true cost of the controller and what the mark up is.....on another note, I REALLY want this controller!!!

I have an Xbox s, looked at a switch as skipped the Wii u, maybe next year if it drops to nearer £200 in summer

Funny how Xbox people laughing at the cost of this when the elite controller is over £100!! For a friggin controller!

Elite controller - insanely overpriced - just simply refuse to purchase at that cost. Looks like MS took a leaf out of Apples pricing strategy.

Pro controller - stupidly overpriced - got one on launch as didnt like idea of joycons on a pad - the fact you have to buy a joycon pad with a rechargeable output goes to show how Nintendo are milking it; have to detach joycons and attach to switch just to recharge but anyways.

There are clones of the Pro controller and strongly recommend investing in them - at the time I purchased there were no 3rd party alternatives. Paying these stupid prices strengthen the justification for these prices, wish I waited.

Got a switch for Christmas and I've been keeping an eye on these, price seems rather ridiculous but thinking do I actually need one, never even played or held a switch so gonna see how I fair with the joy cons on the grip first before I take the plunge
