Rarely do they go down. Amazing controller, better investment than 2 uncomfortable joycons. Like new for £44.98.

Cheapest way to buy one, maybe? Still ludicrous that you have to spend more than £40 to get a controller and even then a used one.

Nintendo stuff is always over priced but the situation isn't that much better on PS4/Xbox One either, case in point the ludicrous price of PS VR move controllers.

Controller pricing is out of control expensive and will probably get worse next gen. I'd get third party pads myself, maybe not 100% as good but some are close and none are as expensive....
It's pretty depressing that this is the best price for such a necessary thing.

At least with the Xbox and PS4 controllers while still expensive (although not to the Nintendo level) you get one with the console making the others extra purchases, for the Switch I honestly wouldn't be able to get by with that awkward dual-con holder they provide.

Sounds like a 'you' problem
Fecking ridiculous how these things keep holding their price, it's a bloody controller FFS!

Yeah, I keep holding out to get one at the £40 mark but they don't drop there. Would prefer a new one than used.
Good price but I'm still waiting for sub £40
You have to wonder why Amazon have so many open box pro controllers though.

Funnily it's actually not, I own one already myself. It's more a case of feeling bad for others to have to spend the same just to get a decent controller for the system.

Probably something to do with the Switch being massively successful?
I mean, in terms of why so many are returned.
Would rather spend the £5 extra for a new one than buy like new for £45
