Had one and tbh now think the third party one (Beboncool) i picked up from Amazon (purchased to tide me over while the pro controller was with Nintendo for stick drift repair) for a a third the price is miles better and use that all the time in preference to my pro controller now.

Such an average overpriced controller, good job the Chinese have nailed it …Such an average overpriced controller, good job the Chinese have nailed it for 20 quid.

Quality won't be there. From my experience you get what you pay for and the Chinese ones are prone to failure and have shabby build quality. They are cheap for a reason. I would rather get the pro at a discount or using a voucher as I wouldn't want to pay full price for it.
Ridiculous price. You can get a decent third party pad for a quarter of the price. I got a couple for the kids switch they are decent pads at a fraction of the price. Plus no quibble Amazon warranty anyway.

Price scalping by Nintendo is horrendous

Interesting. The reviews look very suspicious so good to have a properly independent view.

First two reviews look like they've gone through Google translate.

Good price, wish they had a choice of games though.

Mine looks like the one that's linked in Steveyboy79's post except mine comes with red and blue detailing as opposed to the linked one being all black.

This video seems to be mine. I'm very happy with it and use it in preference to my recently repaired official nintendo pro pad.

in my experience, the cheap janky ones have absolutely horrible input lag which makes gaming unenjoyable for me

I have a yellow one from Beboncool similar to thatas well as the official one and there is definitely not £40 pound difference.

Nope I got a couple from Amazon, nice solid pads no issues. £60 for a switch controller is just ridiculous
Just get an adaptor from Amazon and use you PS4 or other controllers on your Switch
I've had the cheap Chinese controllers that some people are raving on about.

The build quality is cheap and the buttons are clanky.
The rumble is very loud yet weak.
And the analogue sticks' accuracy is far from accurate.

You get what you pay for.
The dpad on my beboncool one is actually usable which is more than I can say for my official nintendo pro pad.

Forget about Chinese pads then. 8bitdo Pro Plus is £35 from Amazon.

My son and nephew have the official Switch Pro pad, I have the 8bitdo. The 8bitdo is built with better quality materials and hasn’t suffered from stick drift, which the official pad is prone to.

The 8bitdo doesn’t have NFC or haptic rumble and you can’t turn the switch on with it, but I can’t pay the ludicrous price of the official pad considering I only need a new pad due to the shameful, disgusting build quality of the £69.99 Joy-Cons.
Awesome controllers
Cars 3 has a resale value of around £15, so if you don’t want that, this makes the deal even better. I have a £5 Argos voucher, so very tempted.
