One of the best games I ever played. It was so sweet and sad at the same time. It really got me for some time.

Was the performance ever patched?

Yes it was. I don't think it's perfect (it's not exactly buttery smooth on PS4) but one guy on Reddit was saying the difference was like "night and day".
Definetly going to pick this up at this price, especially since the game was patched recently fixing the god awful performance.

I bought this recently and have been playing through it. Performance remains shockingly bad. Regularly drops to <10 FPS. It's quite a good game at times, definitely don't think it's as good as I expected, but really let down by the performance.
Great game, but not a great port.
My Mrs is addictive to zelda and has sunk 120+ hours into it.... I skipped even looking at this due to bad press at launch.... is it zeldaesque?? Mrs wants a game to play after finishing zelda and thinking this could fill the hole!

What is the difference between Base.com and BaseCH seller?

What is the difference between Base.com and BaseCH seller?

Good spot! I found this hidefninja.com/com…71/
" Base is a trading name of Online Commerce Ltd, operating in the UK, and BaseCH is a trading name of Online Commerce GmbH, operating in Switzerland, or at least so I'm led to believe, so I'd assume they are the same people, with one just being able to avoid VAT charges."

So VAT avoidance it seems
Patch is a huge improvement meaning about same as PS4 version.

Interesting, perhaps BaseCH will actually send an import copy? Also not really avoidance if they are passing on the saving to the customer! I've had one or two items via BaseCH but can't remember what was sent. There are English box copies produced for the European market, they are usually yellow triangle and have a UXP code rather than a green triangle and UKV code but no other difference apart from that. Other retailers such as TheGameCollection are often selling them.

If anyone orders this from BaseCH please report back on what copy you receive. Base.com sent a UK copy for what it's worth.

This isn't something new, guys. Base have been doing this for years. I've never had an issue with versions received and I've never encountered a comment of similar nature.

Indeed, I don't expect any issues nor have I ever had any myself. Just interested for collector's purposes.

Here's the small detail you was looking for

About our prices
All prices listed on the site include VAT (where appropriate). Some items priced less than £18.00 may be fulfilled by Online Commerce GmbH (Switzerland) based on stock availability and will not incur VAT. This will be confirmed on the dispatch email. Delivery from Online Commerce GmbH (Switzerland) is still by Royal Mail Post and takes on average 3 to 4 days. As no VAT is incurred we will not provide a VAT receipt.

That's just the ugly German version rating symbol isn't it?

No, that monstrosity is the USK rating I was referring to the region code (UKV on UK copies)
You can combine this with the Topcashback Easter promo of £2.50 bonus for a £15 spend - You also get 2% TCB too - So should work out around £15 in total - Bargain
It's a fantastic game but not at this price point. It's extremely short and I question its replay value. Its a great short indie story adventure that will take you between 5-8 hours to finish.

Fill the hole? Ain’t that why she married you? Or are you too busy gaming too?
Was free on PSN not that long ago. Given that it can be finished in less than a day it sure is overpriced for the Switch.

Only if Base purchases track back including VAT as the TCB offer is £15 minimum spend and 17.99÷1.2=14.9916666667

Looks like they do as mine tracked at 0.36p which is 2% of the full £17.99 and my bonus has now tracked as well
