Certainly the cheapest available as of now and £29.99 everywhere else to buy and this has the benefit of being uncensored, unlike the European version.

Note: you need a US Amazon address for this. I’d recommend creating a new account where you live in Oregon where there is no sales tax.

Also you’ll need to create a similar account on Nintendo.com to redeem the code.

I did this yesterday and works fine and have download the game now.

Well that seemed to be the case when I tried to redeem it under my UK account and it wouldn’t work.

Yes, the console itself is region free but like with the Nintendo eShop you need to be registered in that region to use the download codes.

Exactly the same with PS and Xbox. You can buy digitally from anywhere in the world, but need a local account to redeem it.

Surely you've purchased PSN and XBox codes from other regions and know the answer to your own question?
So we shouldn't bother??... Cause this seems like a good deal but the whole changing region thing seems a bit pointless.
To be fair once you’ve downloaded the game it doesn’t care where you’re from. You just end up with another user account linked to your Nintendo Switch.

Personally I have three linked accounts from the UK, US and Japanese it’s pretty simple and the only way to download content from other regions wether it be that they’re cheaper or unavailable in your home region.
I heard the European version of this has quite a lot of scenes censored, so another reason to get the US version

I don't recall it happening very often, there's still some pretty grim stuff that made its way into the European version.
