£40 for a 3 year old game?

COLD!
Nintendo price fixing is a discussion for another thread.

For anyone seeking a new, physical copy this deal is a better price than Game, Asda, Argos, Tesco etc.. and the Spotify offer gives it the edge.

I should note though, that it is currently on offer for download at Nintendo Store at 33% off - see pirate1's deal from yesterday.

I think Nintendo also restrict supply with limited copies

Supply and demand... Not enough copies out there in the wild to justify a price drop.

A tactic which allows Nintendo to maintain brand equity, and for the company's fans to still bleat on like sheep on how "great" the company is.

Just pointing out simple economics... Not trying to give "business advice" or anything.
