You will need to switch (pun not intended) your console region to the US to redeem.

They also have Super Mario Odyssey for the same price

You need to change your devices region (https://www.amazon.com/hz/mycd/myx?ie=UTF8&ref_=nav_youraccount_myk#/home/settings/payment) to United States to purchase digital content from Amazon US, if it's showing unavailable.

I give up

It took a bit of effort but because instructions on how to change country settings haven't been provided fully, no wonder you're fed up!

So, to begin with go to your regular account on the UK Amazon (amazon.co.uk) site or whichever country's Amazon you usually use.

Go to your Account Settings and there should be an option in the middle of the page towards the bottom for 'Manage content and Devices' under Digital content and devices

39172486.jpg
There should be four tabs towards the top of this page; Content, Devices, Preferences and Privacy settings. Hit the Preferences tab. The second option down should be the 'Change your country/region'

39172486.jpg
You can add a random American address but I recommend specifically a random Alaskan address as Amazon will try adding a Estimated Tax cost to your purchase and Alaska residents do not pay tax. The address I used was:

1st line: 1 Akiak
State/Provence: Alaska
Zip code: 99552
Tel No: 12312312312

Save your preferences and that's the country region settings sorted All that was left was go to the item page which should now allow you to add the item to your basket. I then added my fee free credit card and that was it, I got Zelda BotW for £31.10 which is currently downloading. You should get the code via e-mail or the Your Account > Your Digital Items section.

Setting up a US Nintendo Account was also something else I had to do but I just followed this simple guide:

Very happy Switch owner now I've got this classic, cheers Buzz!

My apologies. You need to change your devices region to United States to purchase digital content from Amazon US.

You're buying from amazon, so yes you can buy on mobile. Once you have a switch account just activate the games code
Theyve also price matched Walmart on all first party nintendo titles physical being half price, well the older ones, but it's US delivery only, might be worth keeping an eye on, in case it changes
So when I click on the link that takes me to amazon.com, it says 'currently unavailable' (I'm assume due to me being signed in on my amazon.co.uk account?)
What do I need to do to make that 'available'?
Thanks

tells me unaavailable now
New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, Donkey Kong Country Tropic Freeze, Splatoon 2, Super Mario Party, Mario Tennis Aces, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Yoshi's Crafted World seem to be $39.99 too which should work out at £30.96.

Buzz, you should mention in your deal that it's only showing unavailable as they need to change their Amazon region first, since some people aren't looking at the other comments on how to get the price to show up.

It's in there (added now )
The absurdity that a US digital copy of this game is a hot deal at over 32 quid when it’s a nearly 3 year old port of a last generation game. Madness. Still hot as the game is mega and never gets discounted 🔥
When you say you need to switch to US to redeem, can you then switch back to UK afterwards?

Yes.
Not sure whether to pull the trigger on this or wait and see what comes up tomorrow!
Zelda Botw = one of the best games ever!
seems you need a full US address to change it

This worked for me.
Is this playable on the Switch lite in terms of immersive gameplay? In other words would I miss out on certain aspects of the game just using the lite. Thanks.
If I was to buy the digital code, would I be to redeem it normally on a UK Nintendo account? Thanks to anyone who can help me

All of this, but I didn't have to set up an American Nintendo account, just changed my region settings at Nintendo.com which when you go into your eShop on your switch it'll say it needs to restart, you'll then load up the US eShop where you can enter the code provided.

Then switch your region settings back

Great price for a great game

39174045.jpgThis is what worked for me, then hooped over to Nintendo.com to change region settings there (easy) but make sure you have automatic renewal turned off if you have Nintendo online (can be done in console setttings) then once changed to The America's your eShop will reload and you'll have access to the US eShop where your code will now work
