I use these (got from Ebay), they are a faff to get on as the rubber is harder than my old PS4 ones, but work perfectly. I'm also very used to the dotted pattern.
These things are everywhere, everyone I know with a switch has them on, I even have them on my own switch but I have no idea whatsoever why we need them

same here. I have mine on for two reasons though:
-Family member has switch, easy way to tell apart
-Protecting the circlepads underneath

But other than that I just keep them on for no reason really. They just came with my switch case

wonder if switch ones same size as xbox one?
Hmm. I can actually see a use for these. I've been playing a lot of Enter the Gungeon recently and I've found for intense thumb-action the tops of the sticks are neither deep or rounded enough for my clammy thumbs.

For those who've purchased, do these help do you think?

Yes definitely, I had issues with Breath of the Wild and these were really good

Also protecting the sticks which had little marks with just a few hours of gameplay
