I expect this to go cold as it's version one and I think version 2 sells for £279. But given the current scarcity it may help someone.

I think packaging is from version two but the model number quoted is version one

I don't get it.
The product page shows the newer version of the original switch.
Does the OP not just mean version 1 as in the switch and not the switch lite (2)
Correct me if im wrong it says extended battery life? On the link I mean.
It's V2 with improved battery
Hurry before it sells out
How many versions of the switch have there been?

There was the original. And then I remember they updated the processor which meant better battery life (but just a bit). Is there a newer version still?

There is 3.
Original, extended battery of original and lite.
Product page says 1.1 so it's the updated one.

China bank on line this week so sub rrp deals incoming.
All Limited uk stock is being snatched up by wannabe entrepreneurs and sold on ebay at inflated prices sometimes by £200, only problem not including the extra £ if you buy from them (most ppl wont realise) that the warranty starts from their purchase date and not yours.

long story short if you want a switch then just wait for retailers deliveries the ebayers cant buy em all if ppl aren't buying theirs and they will be stuck with their own greed

People selling used switches still under warranty. They don't realise as soon as its sold on the warranty is invalid. Nintendo even say on their website its only the original person who purchased the switch can claim under warranty.
