Good price great as a p2 controller but wouldn't recommend as your go to controller
Just so people know, this doesn't have motion or rumble.

Nothing wrong with using it as your main controller. I prefer it over the g-cons
What does it mean by 'removable USB cable'? Can it be used wirelessly?

It is not a wireless controller.
Detachable cable for storage purposes as the cable is 10ft.

Not just for storage but also for safety and wear and tear as well. If someone trips over the cable it will more likely pull it out of the controller instead of pulling the dock to the floor, and it is easier just to replace the wire if that becomes broken instead of having to replace the whole controller.

Good little controller. Picked it up from Argos at Xmas time for £20. Does the job until I get a pro controller

It means the cable will pull out when you inevitably trip on it

Depends on what games you play. I couldn't play Splatoon without motion controls

Admitally I haven't played that game
Thank you poster, manage to get the last one from my local Tesco:-) will do till get pro controller
Paid 25 for the Zelda version, if you can forgo rumble and motion ( I don’t notice them in game) it’s great! Much prefer using it than the joy cons
whats the d-pad like on these? is it similar to a dualshock or abox one controller in terms of feel? appreciate there's no rumble
I have one of these controllers, and yes,it is wired, and it has no rumble or Amiibo support. It is, however, a good price, and has great sensitive analogue sticks along with a good D-pad. Granted, it’s nowhere near as good as a pro controller, but it’s a good purchase for anyone on a budget, and is a fine controller.

Picking up from local Tesco, thanks OP as I missed the 19.99 argos offer last week.

Thankfully saw a couple of youtube reviews online - didn't realise people did videos for controllers but both said the d-pad was solid and one preferred it to the pro

both said the pro was clearly a better controller though - but a cheap alternate for me when playing fifa - I hate using the analogue stick for that game
