Absolute bargain at this price. Has been widely received as an excellent game.
Is this a lot better than the first Yooka Laylee? It's that game which gave me trust issues

This is a 2D side scroller this time, rather than a 3D world. Bit like donkey Kong country,

It's been getting fantastic reviews. Being compared to Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze (One of the greatest platformers of all time)

Ooo tropical freeze is actually one of my favourite platformers so that's tempting, the price don't seem bad either tbf

I played this, and beat it, loved every second, there are 2 types of game play: the 3D overworld, which reminded me a little of Links Awakening, just the presentation and lots of puzzles. The main event though are the 2D levels, the platforming is tough but fair and it controls really well. It's not as good as Tropical Freeze in my opinion, but it's not far off at all and definitely worth a look at this price.
I've seen so many positive reviews on this, but I think Digital Foundry's review was the one that sold it me. I personally didn't like the previous one after I was hyped to get it I felt let down. I was glad to see they mixed it up and didn't churn out a straight sequel.
