An amazing-looking bag that doesn’t have the Nintendo Switch logo on it and is still licensed by Nintendo. An alternative place to get it is £29.99 from Argos.

Cool bag but it’s not exactly the best deal you’ve ever posted.

No but it’s a new bag and £1 less than RRP I post these sometimes but not really recently as less stuff released

The bag comes with an additional Switch hard case which is decent. The Switch banded on (same spec diff design) I’ve seen for £19.99 so take your pick.

Nice bag. But not exactly a great deal in terms of discount haha

Fair enough, a discount is a discount and if I could justify another bag I’d be tempted

But it also has the Nintendo Switch logo on it, which for a lot of people put them off it

Indeed. Don't like advertising what I've got in there. The Zelda theme's alot nicer looking. (Even though I don't really need it, I might get it anyway, just because I'm a sucjker for Zelda stuff). haha.

What I tend to find is that the all of the shoulder bags dedicated to switch though aren't all that practical, as the way they do the pockets means that all you can really carry in there is specific switch stuff. So I find that just a regular laptop bag is better, as you can chose exactly which items to carry, plus can even fit alot of non switch items in there with it (even though the exterior is the same size, the inside gives you alot more room and freedom). If all you want to do is protect the switch alot better, simplest way is to just put a solid pouch inside it, which does the job alot better (as the laptop bags are soft material, so not that protective anyway, whereas the hard pouches if you get a decent one like either the RDS ones, or the Orzly Hard Case (which is even better for space efficiency), then either of those would fit inside any laptop bag, and you have the best of both worlds. (whereas the pocket space on some of the dedicated switch bags isn't quite big enough for the more decent hard pouches). Nintendo themselves do a really slim one, which might, but it's so soft that you're back to square one on the lack of protection, so hardly worth bothering with.

In all fairness though, I've not tried this Zelda switch bag. (So I'm only guessing on the pocket size based on what I've seen on some of the other dedicated switch bags out there)
Does anyone who has already bought this Zelda bag and also has either the RDS pouch or the Orzly Hard Carry Case pouch managed to get it in the proper pocket for the switch?

(they are both identical in external dimensions, so if it does, then they both will, in any of their designs or colors, but if it doesn't, then none of them will). It's always tricky to be able to tell this stuff just from online pictures, so anyone that has actually tried these combinations in the real world will be helping us all greatly.

    Many thanks in advance.

Nice one! Thanks for the great onfo! (I didn't notice that the bag came with a hard pouch aswell until you pointed that out!) but looking more closely at the pictures, you're rigjht, I can see it. Looks quite nice aswell!

Looking at the image though, it's one of those narrow ones, so won't be able to carry my extra joycons in it safely though (that's the huge downside of the thin ones).

Does the bag itself have any compartments that are specifically for extra joycons that aren't soft? From what I remember of the plain grey switch version of this bag, if it's the same measurements as that, there want't really anything suitable for that purpose, so was back to square one and still better off with my regular laptop bag in the end. Turned out to be way safer for the thumbsticks of the joycons! (Those things are volatile man!) I've killed two pairs already finding that out the hard way, so am a lot more cautious now. They're not cheap things to replace!

I do love the way this bag looks though. Even though I'll probably never use it to actually carry my switch, there's just something about zelda stuff that I'm a sucker for every time, and before I know it, I've handed over my money! (it's a terrible habit) I swear they ought to invent a smoker's patch for it to help ween me off my addiction! :-D
