You can get a 2000 Points card from Game when bought with (WBW) anything else from Game.

I ordered some batteries with it to get it to this price - total cost of £9.48. Plus quidco too.

You could also add a gift voucher!

I haven't seen this cheaper than £15 elsewhere!

These batteries seem to be the cheapest item on offer for £1.49.

game did this last time with the 360 camera but they cancelled. wont be putting any busieness there way again.

We should start a Game cancellation date sweepstakes.

Voted hot. Although If I were you I think I'd have waited until I'd recevied them before posting.

Can't see why people vote cold just because they think they'll cancel it.

Thanks, voted hot

Gone for it - lets see if it comes off!

Can't create an account with Game. The "Get Details" button that's meant to get Addresses based on the entered postcode doesn't work in any browser I try. Nothing's being blocked either.

Yeh i had the camera incident and im never ordering off them again -- mate i wouldnt risk it as they will just cancel your order

Nice find though and shall leave rep

Spotted these in store at WH Smith in their Game Sale for £13.99.
£7.99 is a very good price if it comes off.

Well its not reallt £7.99 if your buying batteries as well as you have to get those to get that price

But buy em and sell them on fleabay make a tiny profit

Can i just ask how do you find "WBW deals" from Game, as i've only accidentally stumbled on it once previously and can't find it through searches?

Also i don't recommend people take advantage of Games WBW offers by buying batteries as the other item, as they can clearly see that people are abusing the system and that just causes them to either cancel the deal or reconsider offering good bargains for "when bought with" deals, so i'd recommend buying Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz for £19.99 (or anything else that takes your fancy), as i posted in my other deal.

Please bare in mind that the WBW deals are quite new and they will be adjusting it in the near future according to everyones buying habits, so i guarantee they'll soon implement conditions such as excluding vouchers and requires a minimum spend of £20 etc or even scrap it altogether, so please don't abuse the system too much and hope people understand that i agree it's best to get the best deals possible but you must also think of the future consequences.

Never had a problem with WBW offers in store. And they have been around for ages, I got a few in the heyday of the PS2. If memory serves me correct, I got SEGA Superstars with Camera for £19.99 one week, Brian Lara Cricket £19.99 the next and reckon one on the PSP the next week cannot remember, each time I just got batteries or some other cheap accessory, I even asked in store what the cheapest item was, and they were pleased to tell me without any kind of argument or anything, not sure about the online WBW offers though.

I can't create an account either, get the same problem, tried work and home postcodes with and without spaces :x

Maybe they're using the RoyalMail web site and they've already done 8 searches today! ;-)

Me too - cannot get my address! Very annoying as I wanted MonkeyBall too and it will save me some money (already have about 20 Virtual Console games!)

ignore me, left my brain at home

Well I've gone for it and used the £5 voucher from the last cock up.

Address work around ---- Select a different country, manually enter your address, any way you like, and you can then change ALL the details, including country on the next page. Ordered,,, AT LAST!

nice price still not sure if i want virual games tho hm

Don't get you hopes up folks, i ordered at about 11am this morning using my account then again under the girlfriends name and both have been cancelled due to 'credit card problems'

hmmmm

When me and my friends bought the Wii base pack with wii sports only.. the cheeky ****** 'hard' sold me the game rewards card... so as I bought a few Wii's the reward points for them were on it......

So used that - got my money back!

Lets see if the honour the battery and Wii points order.............. :whistling:

Link shows £14.99 not £7.xx

Anybody???

If they cancel the wii points, then send you the battery just post it back to them

jaffacat

Me too - looks like they are honouring this deal!

What about ordering a £5 voucher with the points. Then you can get the £5 back later at any date :).

Well I ordered 3 using the 3 £5 discounts they gave me after the Camera fiasco and they have been dispatched  So combined with my reward points I had I now have 6000 Wii points, a £5 voucher, a gameboy advance case and a set of some cards?? For £7.49 in total if you minus the voucher which is money anyway thats £2.49. What a result.

Great find dude. Voted hot. Iv never had a problem with there WBW. I once ordered sonic eye toy and a some batteries and they cam through no problems.

Mine has shipped too. Thanks, voted hot + rep given ;-)

On another note, I wouldn't recommend Mario64, wasted 1000 points on that rubbish! SuperMario world, is however, even better than I remember.

There's a big difference between buying stuff instore and online though. The staff serving you in a store are unlikely to care about making the company money than the people in charge of a website. Most shop staff will turn a blind eye to customers abusing deals, because they get paid enough to care about company turn-over.

Also, more people will abuse this sort of deal online (one click to order 10 items, as opposed to queuing in a store), so the company is likely to lose more, and you end up with situations like the 360 camera.

Thanks to the OP for the tip, I will be taking my boyfriend to Game later to see if we can get one.
