just got back from my local clearance bargains and i noticed these for sale which i found a bit strange as i thought they only sold surplus argos stock. but they're selling them so enjoy.
im not expecting the deal to get really hot as its not really that much off the retail but just giving people a heads up if they're after one.

updated link to their website but you wont find item as its offline only but you will be able to check where your nearest store is

if you read the post it says that these where instore!! very unlikely to get a wii online for £149.99

Any stores near in and around London?

where is the store??

Good post for those who can find them (luckily I can't so dont feel to bad at spending £245 at game inc Wii Fit)

:0)

theres one of these in walsall

Got one of these near me (Stanley, Co Durham) so I'll call in and have a look.

They did the same thing last year - September 2007 they were flogging Wii's for about £150. But all the ebayers bought them 10 at a time and they were gone in a couple of days.

Are these the refurbished ones so warranty will have to go through them, not that it matters of course

are you sure these are refurbished cos the ones i saw still had the original seal on the box and not everything they sell is refurbished stuff

Never heard of store (and not near me either...) But voted hot and rep on its way....

great deal....for some who live near a store....voted hot..

i pop along to the Corby store regularly as its always got some sort of bargain on the go. Just thought I'd chip in to say that it's far from all refurb stock. Most of it is overstock, or returns. Prices though, can often be far more than elsewhere esp online.
They do stock stuff from non-argos sources, homebase for instance.

My best bargain from there was my Adidas Predator shinpads, £2.99.

ARGOS IS HOMEBASE and vice versa. Owned by the same people.

Do they only have the 2 stores? :O

They are refurbished Wiis

As far as I know Clearance Bargains is part of Argos, its just that like W H Smiths they decided to start selling all the returns they get through they're own company rather than selling them on to what they call "Jobbers", they have'nt got a clue though, I used to be classed as a jobber at one point and bought from both Argos and Smiths and they were so paranoid that we paid pennies and sold for huge profits (which never happend) thats why they started doing it themselves, but the prices are still way more than what most independant ex-catalogue companies would have charged. The other thing is the repair company they use.......Well put it this way, my Mum always said "if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing at all".

Firstly it's "grammar" and secondly it's just irritating when people go to the extra effort of capitalising the first letter of each word. You should actually try it for yourself and see how much effort it takes for someone to do things the wrong way. It's very tiring to read test written like that just as it's tiring to read text that has been typed as all caps.

jeez their website hurts my eyes. occasional good deals to be had though

If you are not local to one of our stores why not visit our eBay shop at:
