They have fun as a family and there is lots of other ways to have fun … They have fun as a family and there is lots of other ways to have fun than sat in front of a screen playing games and shooting people to bits GREAT FUN.

Away and play with a turnip. If you're so anti-games console, why enter a Wii thread?

I don't understand why everybody panics for these consoles why not just wait a few weeks and there will be loads about for a fraction of the price. The next panic will be ps3 i dont let my kids have any games consoles as they learn nothing from playing pointless games just my opinion.

just called they only got the 300 quid bundle for wednesday delivery.. not for me.. don't you hate it when companies force you to buy bundles so that they can max out on their profits.. personally i think wii are such simple machines to produce that i give this wii shortage a few weeks to run before we get inundated with them.. expect them to come in cheaper than list price on ebay for used wii by the middle of feb..
  22. deleted25461's avatar

    Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!! *Shakes hand at Comet*

Dear Sir or Madam: I write today regarding my recent order for a Nintendo … Dear Sir or Madam: I write today regarding my recent order for a Nintendo Wii, which I placed over using your telephone ordering system last week. An agreed a delivery date of 03rd January, and a time slot of between 7am-12pm was made with your Customer Service Advisor, with the item to be delivered to my place of work. I arrived at work at 6:45am to ensure I was here to receive my order for the agreed allotted time. As 1pm came I still had not received either my order, or a courtesy call from yourselves stating its whereabouts as it was now 1 hour late. I called your customer services helpline to check on its delivery status, only to be told that the delivery had over ran and it was now scheduled in for tomorrow for the same time.I was then advised that the delivery was not guaranteed for tomorrow either, and it could over run yet again! I would be most pleased to know; at which point would I of been made aware that my order would not be arriving at my AGREED time and if the re-arranged time suited to yourselves was agreeable with me. Whilst I understand that these things happen, more so with a large company of your size, I find it utterly deplorable that I received no courtesy call and only the offer to be more disappointed with your service tomorrow. Please could you find the time to restore faith in a once, happy customer of Comet.Sincerely,

My friend ordered on at the same time as me (well, after) and he received his at 11:59am yesterday. Mine did not turn up, and after many a phone call and even an hour round trip to the parcelforce depot, it still couldn't be found. Turns out it had been left behind yesterday (weird how the guy never managed to find it) and it's to be here today between 7-12. I've already claimed my refund for delivery from Comet (see your attached after sales leaflet in the confirmation email for details - call 08705 425 425, option 2 then 3 to do this).

It's not 11:50 and it's still not here :x Comet told me to write to head office to put in a formal complaint if I wish (which I will do, as I was occupied by this whole thing from 7am yesterday, until returning homoe empty handed at 5:30pm).

Hope this can be resolved soon enough though.
