Nintendo Wii U Console 32GB Premium Pack (New) - £199.99 @ Sainsburys

Among the cheapest price I've seen for the Wii U - certainly now that Amazon have hiked their price back up. I bought mine a week ago and am loving it to bits, so it definitely comes with my recommendation. If you've been on the fence, hopefully this is just enough to tip you over.

(I would also recommend picking up some other games while you're at it: Nintendo Land is enjoyable as a group, but doesn't make much mileage as a single player game. Thankfully the excellent Rayman Legends is around for cheap on the Wii U, while Pikmin 3 and the new Donkey Kong are worth whatever price you can find them for).

Hope this is helpful! I am unsure whether this is nationwide or only in my local store, but if anyone needs clarification feel free to message.

good price for the premium bundle -heat

Hey everyone! Planning on making a post about your "magic price point"? Well don't, its old and its boring. Either just move along or vote based on your opinion.

Was this not cheaper with a game around Christmas time? Not saying that this isnt Hot now, but seems odd that the price has gone up.

No one is forcing you to read them...

Has been this price in sainsbury's since before Christmas so should still be national. Lots of other games worth having for the console (and a lot for cheap) like super mario 3d world, zelda, wonderful 101 and deus ex (best console version IMO thanks to the gamepad).

I think I'll probably bite at the £169.99 mark. What does everybody else think?

I tend to follow comments on these types of deals since my insight as an actual owner could be useful. But having to read the same trolling comments on nearly every deal (usually from the same posters) is getting old fast. Anyone that has seen any Wii U deal will know what I mean.

Waiting until it drops to £150.

How does he know he is reading a magic price point comment until he's read it though?

Personally I find the comments amusing for both the price and why the console is a failure. Oh and the blatant fanboyism comments of course. The fact people take time out of their day to type out the same comments over and over has a repetitive soothing effect on me.

LOL. I'm a fun person. I know a joke when I see it, I'de like to think that most replies now will be to poke fun but I think an actual troll comment will get posted eventually. Its inevitable and unavoidable, I understand that now.

I'll just sit back and watch the fun

Great console. Heat

Bought at Christmas best console experience in a while. Get it while you can as when mk8 launches price will def go up.

got this console at Christmas for kids. They played for a total of about 3 hrs super Mario bros u, pikmin 3, Nintendo land and that was it, never turned on again, though they occasionally play Wii sports resort on our old Wii!!! I thought it would be good for Netflix on gamepad but it keeps losing WiFi signal, overall my experience is not great.

Guys tried to take advantage of this offer and Sainsbury's don't even have it on their system anymore, may be worth listing as expired.

Thanks Sammanoj, will do. If you're still looking, it might be worth checking out HMV as I hear they're selling Nintendo stuff pretty cheaply in store.

A deal that is 2 months old being expired? I would have never imagined it.
