Great Idea

This has been available since yesterday at least! It appears to be postcode dependant on whether or not they are in stock!

Unfortunately they weren't for me at any of the 5 postcode areas I tried!!! :x

Oh I actually live about 5 mins from Argos warehouse so maybe thats why

Not out of stock, just removed briefly to increase prices!!!

Now showing at website as back in stock, but the price has jumped up by £30to £269.93 + delivery.... Grrrrrrrrr.

- my mistake. Games are slightly different. But it still not worthy of the extra £30.

both deals are still available for me. The more expensive has different games

Still there at £239 - just bagged one. Stock in SE. If anyone wants to order for delivery to me and then pay postage on then just ask. For peace of mind check put my ebay account and ask question - dongle183:thumbsup:

in stock in BN postcode. good to see that there is hardly any markup on ebay sales of the Wii now although there are still a few plonkers about bidding sily money.

I just get error in the shopping basket I take it that means all gone

Well it showed up as in stock for my post code until all my credit card details were taken. Usually it should tell you it's out of stock before that point shouldn't it?

Error 404: /argos/shoppingcart.jsp

coz it's been taken out of the search listings and the catalogue too, I believe... though the direct link is somehow still up...

Yup - just going to say it no longer showed up in the search - though it did for five minutes after my order was supposedly taken! :x

First time I've tried to order a Wii - it's like bashing your head against a berick wall!

The more expensive bundle at £269.93 is still in stock for a BH postcode. Catalogue number 568/8001.

it clearly states on the info page that 'The contents of this pack are not transferable for any other games or accessories' - be very careful if youre thinking of going down that road - ive bought a bundle off game which states 'Partial returns of bundles cannot be made in store, but must be returned by post using the details below' although we'll probably end up keeping them all.

so be careful - nintendo bundless are excluded from the argos 30 day return guarantee - you may get stuck with some unsellable rubbish that theyve bundled up to get rid of!

it may also be that theyve marked the bundled stock to prevent people from returning bundled games - or that theres no markings on the packaging at all - i think its then up to you to prove that you bought it from them - as your only proof is the bundle receipt you're stumped!!

these retailers arent stupid - they grow wise to the ways in which people try to manipulate their terms and conditions - some of which are there to help the genuine buyer not for people to use as an excuse to return goods that they knew they wouldnt want but bought as a means to get something else.

argos have no obligation to give a 30 day return policy - but they do for the benefit of genuine customers - if people persistantly abuse this offer it will no doubt be removed
