How do you rate the difficulty Mixi? Harder than the 1st? About the same?

How do you rate the difficulty Mixi? Harder than the 1st? About the same?

Harder, much harder in fact. I am now on region 7 and I have to fight a character that I am not going to spoil who that is but I am totally stuck now. Good thing is you can now play with 2 other players or 1 player and one NPC but if you do it, the difficulty also ramps up a lot. The level designs are much better. The image I put in the description is from my favourite level. It is really atmospheric and fun.

Nice I still need to finish the 1st one and Sekiro before I start this, but will get round to it eventually.
Heat, I’ve been looking for a sub £40. You played doom eternal ? If so which of the two would you recommend buying first. Thanks

I did not sorry. Not a Doom fan and for that reason my recommendation would probably be a bit biased. All I can say is this is a really fun game with a better story and lore than the first one.

you get more out of nioh 2, you will play it for weeks without a doubt. but if you want to be smarter with your money i am guessing it would take doom a lot longer to get discounts. maybe you wanna get doom first then nioh in a month or 2 when it gets to £30

but if i was to recommend based on content it would be nioh without a doubt. i am 40 hours in and nowhere near the end. the replayability is fantastic too. its well worth full price and to top it off its a fantastic game. i love it

or hell, just get nioh 1 and see if it makes you go in for nioh 2. nioh 1 is dirt cheap right now. was even on ps+ a few months ago
the first one was freaking amazing so im defo getting this
Loving this game so far - Switch glaive is epic
Enjoying this game but not sure that's the right word!

It's extremely difficult, I had no real problems with the first game and I've finished all the Soulsborne games but this is giving me a tough time.. It seems to be designed for you to die a lot, most normal enemies are extremely hard (for me at least!). I've just finished the first main mission on the second area and I've already died over 300 times! A lot of those were stupid deaths with me not taking my time but still, it's very very hard!

That’s exactly what I was thinking, which will drop in price the quickest. I’ve got Nioh 1 with PS+ plus and haven’t even played it yet :O. There’s to many games to play; FF7, RE3, Nioh 2 and doom.
Great game, hard to adapt to initially but a real blast once you get into the groove. A fair game that really rewards being creative with your builds . Onmyo mage here mage

Really? I had trouble with the Snakey Boi boss but i'm finding it alot easier than the first to be honest, only as far as the 5th region though so mayber it increases :/

Doom Eternal, I mean I absolutely love Nioh 2 but Doom Eternal is just absolutely amazing. Multiplayer is a bit naff though.

Getting straight back on Nioh once I have the Doom plat though

I struggled with that one too, but don't rush region 6 is going to be mental.
Just checked their feedback (always prudent to look at the negative feedback) seem to have a lot of "items lost" issues in the past 6 months. Has anyone ordered from them before and do items come tracked?

They’re Simply Games and although I don’t buy much from them, I’ve had no issues personally in the past.

I think I've found the game to be even more unforgiving than the original, with more ganky situations. But, despite the hundreds of hours willingly put into Nioh, the sequel is much better I think (although only into the 3rd region so far).

Having used an axe through most of the original, I decided on kusarigama this time and initially found it to be easier to get through. Just showed more patience, used a mid stance strategy and just chipped away, mainly successfully.

Then, the snake boss...which I found to be unbelievably tough, tried several strategies and just couldn't deal decent damage. A lot of the problem I think was switching build to odachi in the 2nd area, meaning I had significant points already in dexterity.
On that note, build is I think a lot more crucial in Nioh, because absolutely any mistake is severely punished so if you've built poorly, you get crushed. In Dark Souls at least there are always AI behaviours which bosses aside, mean mistakes are often not capitalised on by the enemies.

Regarding the snake, I died to it a LOT of times. The last boss I struggled with so much was Elana in NG+ from DS2 (not helped by not getting to fight her in NG, where she is laughably easier).

The conundrum with the reptile is whether to destroy an outer snake early in a cycle or not.

Spoiler: Eventually, I found a rhythm and found that trying to deal as much damage to the outer snakes, then go for its head and try to avoid triggering the 2nd stage was best. Even then, it was still difficult. Destroying a small snake pre-2nd stage makes it much easier to survive the

For an early boss, it has a ridiculously high health pool. The boss in the next main mission went down after a few tries - the human bosses always seem to be noticeably easier.

Regarding its difficulty, Team Ninja don't make games which are easy and it's part of their philosophy. Ninja Gaiden Black anyone?

Funny enough I went with Spear this time around after Axe slmost exclusively in the first game. In the end Yatsu-No-Kami was more a lesson in patience for me, Brute form doesn't help alot against it's charge attack and the demon realm parts I just avoided it and the arms. First boss in a long time i've given a triumphant 'f*** you' to at the TV

Finding this game a real challenge. Human bosses have been simple. Any Yokai have been tough!
