In Nioh, players will traverse war-torn Japan as William, a blonde-haired swordsman whose background as a fierce warrior and seasoned knowledge of the blade allows him to survive in the demon-plagued land of the samurai.
Taking Inspiration from the Ninja Gaiden and Dark Souls Series of games, Nioh invites you to muster the resilience of a true samurai: the skills and patience to overcome even the deadliest enemies and the courage to remain steadfast even in the face of death.

Known as Yokai, these demons inhabit a number of dangerous locations and lie in wait in the shadows to ambush unsuspecting victims. Players will also face off with other samurai in supernatural sword battles and intense, multi-target engagements offering a level of difficulty that will truly test even the most hardened samurai’s skills, patience, and strategy.

I've promised not to buy any other games until I at least start making my way through my backlog, and then I started to play The Elder Scrolls Online again

Fantastic price mate, heat added. Not buying

You are not a PS4 player anyway...
Am i right in thinking teh 'Complete Edition; with all DLC never made it to UK as physical release? I've held off waiting but I may give in at this price and get DLC on offer later.

We can never say never. But so far they have confirmed it won't be.

I have an Xbox One too for exclusives... (that Xbox never have any luck with). But, it does not mean I am Xbox One player.

Well, to word it better - I use the Xbox for multiplayer games (FIFA, BF, CoD, TESO etc) and their Forza titles and so on, and PS4 for the single player games (God of War, TLOU, Spider-Man, The Order 1886, Infamous, Killzone, Driveclub, Gran Turismo, Uncharted, HZD, etc, etc...)

It's all equal playing. I'm very much a PS4 player

Feels like the season pass was always in the sales and as soon as I finish the game it hasn't popped up since

Same.

I'm currently playing (and loving) Horizon.

Then I've got Detroit & GOW to play (in that order, I think.)

I'll get Nioh when it gets to a tenner (patients, Luke ...).
Incredible game, season pass is 100% worth it because of the way NG+ playthroughs are accessible the same way it is Borderlands, make grinding levels alot easier

Glad to hear that, bought the complete edition with season pass digital a few months ago on sale, wasn't too sure how good the extra stuff would be, yet to play because as others have said above, the backlog is just too crazy! Hopefully I'll start it soon. Heat for this price though!
This game is beautiful really challenging and satisfying !!
Is this a hard game ? i dont fancy a dark souls type game.

I found it easier than any Dark Souls game I've played, and I actually completed it whereas I've never finished a DS game. It's also easier that you know at all times what the objectives are as they're all self contained missions.

I would say it is a hard game though, but I think the combat is better than any DS game and that's where it stands out: you have three postures with which you attack, and that impacts how you play. I loved using the spear with high posture and its hard hits, also let you keep your distance from the enemy. There's loads of different weapons though, if you like being close to the enemy and can dodge well there's swords / dual swords etc. You'll need to get good at using two weapons (two weapon slots for quick changes), I went with spear and Kusarigama, and you'll need to adjust your play style to different enemies and bosses.

You also don't have shields like you do in DS, so that's why you need to be good with your combat and dodges.

I think enemy / location variety isn't great but for me, the combat far outweighed that.

There's also loads of loot if you're into that.
