Fantastic game with a load of content, really satisfying to platinum. I don't regret paying full price for it.

Only problem I can see with the deal is that there's a lot of DLC out now. I've not played it so can't say if it's worth it but some people may prefer to wait for a deal in the future with all of the content included.
Is this as hard as Bloodborne? I couldn't even get past the first level on that lol
Says save 10% with PS+ so price should be £27.00...
Actually coming up as £24.49! 50p cheaper

One of the best games I have ever played, well recommended

I've not finished Nioh, about 25% through. So far it's definitely been easier than Bloodborne, however Bloodborne was my first souls game and since it I've played a few so have more experience
I would highly recommend getting this game if you like souls type of games.
This is superior to Dark Souls mechanically (which is already exceptional as so), but weaker in PVP/lore.
Season pass is currently on offer for 14.99 so the full content is 39.48. Pretty good I'd say.

I've completed the game, and I'd say to complete Nioh was actually harder at times than BB (which I also completed).

I think the bosses in Nioh also have more variety in the way you fight them. Not once in BB did I question if I could actually beat a boss, there are a few in Nioh which at first few tries I started to wonder if they were beyond me.

Regardless of difficulty I think I enjoyed the combat of Nioh far more than BB, especially as stamina management and guard breaking is sooooooo much more important in Nioh than BB, given that BB almost lets you dash dodge infinately, try that in Nioh and you are going to have a bad day.

The early game is far easier in Nioh, some of the later stuff is harder (IMO). There are more mechanics and strategies to master in Nioh, but just the fact that you have an effective block in Nioh makes it more noob friendly at the start.

However both games require you to get good if you want to finish them, simply blocking won't win all the battles in Nioh.

Bloodborne was incredibly hard for the first couple of levels but believe me, if you persevere, it becomes so much easier.

I'd stay well clear then.

Agreed once you've defeated the first boss it's a lot easier bloodborne was brilliant constantly learned how to play and deal with each enemy really enjoyed getting the platinum trophy

I found the hardest boss to the the BSB, it literally took me a gazillion tries, and buckets of angry tears
It is a hard game but as with souls if you get stuck you can summon in help. If I find I'm getting frustrated with a boss I just get someone help me to defeat it and move on.
I remember playing on Bloodborne after hundreds of hours on the Souls games and got my ass handed to me on a plate - many times I lost all my blood echoes and couldn't improve my character. Once I got to the first boss I remember having a lot less trouble. Obviously the adjustment to a more aggressive approach took me a while but after making it past the first parts, only the BSB caused me real issues. Struggles with Amelia were solved by being hyper-aggressive, ironically the strategy I used on the first try and then immediately abandoned!!!
I've never understood people's issues with Father G but I guess some will have cruised through the very early game.

Still toying with buying Nioh - too many games in the "barely played" pile of shame and I reckon a complete edition will be cheaper than £40 before Christmas.

I think I defeated the bsb on my second try the boss what gave me the most trouble was father gasgoine when he transforms at the end
Proudest gaming moment is probably still not losing a life to Father G - started NG+2 - and defeating Capra Demon first time (although died a few times on NG+)!

Still umming and ahhing on Nioh - what's a good reason to take the plunge?
