Personally, I love Koka noodles. I haven't tried Nissin noodles yet but Koka beats out Supernoodles ;).

I like the Sesame flavour best of this brand...I thought the others were good but a bit too salty.
You can currently get a case of 30 for £9.90 delivered from Amazon.

Try looking at the Ramen Rate Top10 Lists, e.g:

I grew up eating the chicken flavour of these but now I find all of them to be quite sub-par if I'm honest. I haven't branched out much to other brands but I have a Shin Ramyun every now and then and they're infinitely better (for those who can stand the heat). Nissin is still 10x better than those horrid Super Noodles though. I've also tried a spicy cheese flavour from another Korean brand (the name escapes me) last time I was in Hong Kong and I loved those as well.

Speculator, I've heard that they've started selling Vitasoy milk as well, is that true?

Yep, and think Asda sell the Yeo's equivalent.

My local Chinese supermarket sell boxes of 30 for £9, so Tesco's deal is about the same. Vitasoy is cheaper than Tesco's too...

Holland I believe

Prefer satay or duck flavour myself. Vitasoy milk pack of 6 for £2.00 in Tesco. Now I'm waiting for them to sell mooncakes & egg rolls.

Yes, but just the white ordinary version, not the popular brown Malted version.

beef favour rules. who here makes them with a bit of water for the soup base, after you've softened the noodles?

Where can you buy Nongshim Shin Ramyun Black in the UK?

Am sure an asian/indian supermarket will have them. They have the much more common hot and spicy anyway.

I've been wanting to try that for ages but have only ever saw it one time when I was on Holiday in Beijing. None of the Chinese supermarkets in the Edinburgh or Glasgow areas have them.

these are "how how sit" especially the black garlic flavour ones!! only 45p at my local Chinese store in Peterborough;).

Nissin are pretty good, in Brazil where the Japanese community is the biggest in the world nissin is the major brand with more tha 300 types of noddles.

hackken, which Tesco did you see this?

I guess I should have mentioned UK....... KOKO is preety good, I normally get the tesco basic ones and add stuff to it to make it edible......KOKO is when I'm feeling rich.....now these ones Nissan ones will have to go on my wishlist

That's how you're meant to cook them anyway.

the sesame flavour ones are my favourite. I tend to over cook the noodles in the soup base. Put the noodle soup in a bowl then add the sesame oil, which incidentally is the nicest sesame oil I have ever tasted.
