Not as cheap as the 7dayshop offer but a good price none the less, and this is in stock.

Personally I prefer the Liitokala Engineer Lii-500 as it discharges too but this is a bit more compact.

Big respect for Nitecore. Excellent products all round. I own a bunch of their 18650s, a different model charger and a torch. Impressed throughout.
These are supposedly good chargers. See here for a technical review - Nitecore UM4 Review.

Taken from this website that reviews quite a few chargers - lygte-info.dk/inf…tml
Which is better overall, Nitecore UM4 or a Xtar VC4?

I think the VC4 is slightly higher regarded but I can’t remember why. I went for Nitecore because the display is more user friendly and I knew my wife was going to be using it. I wasn’t too impressed with Nitecore tbh, one of the buttons was dodgy when I got it and they wanted me to send it back to China so they could inspect it and decide if they were going to do anything about it. I told them I didn’t want to do that because I bought a charger because I needed one, not to go two months without it, and they told me my only option was to lump it.

UM4 reading through the provided review above.
+ USB powered to micro USB into charger
+ Wide range of batteries sizes
+ Easy to use for beginners/ User friendly (plug and charge, no messing with settings)
+ Displays capacity of each cell
+ Lower and higher current with button presses

VC4
+ USB powered to round pin/barrel plug into charger
+ Wide range of batteries sizes
+ Easy to use for beginners/ User friendly (plug and charge, no messing with settings)
+ Displays capacity of each cell
+ 1A charge for 2 cells and 0.5A when all charging slots occupied
- No adjustable charging rate for fast or slow charging

It seems UM4 is a great buy, would prefer if it was UK based for faults, repairs and returns, but if it works flawlessly then great.

None of these discharge though. I've had flat batteries I've put on charge and the capacities (when fully charged) show as worryingly low. Do a full discharge/recycle in charger and they seem to recover.

Liitokala Lii-402 can be had for $7.99 from BangGood. It has discharge in that there's a USB A output.
