There is always something going on in Birmingham, and this is generally cheaper than a taxi for me so I think its a good offer as the hotel is in a good central location and you get a free cup of coffee or tea in the downstairs cafe. These are very small rooms, but have everything you need if you just want some where to crash after a night out.

in brimingham quite a bit but i wouldnt stay here unless as a last resort.....if you like staying in a cupboard then go head...steer clear if you are remotely claustrophobic

I have stayed here a couple of times, it's nice but be warned that the building has 'no' windows whatsover except for the reception area!

It's a no frills hotel, so the bedrooms are all like little cabins the bed is bigger than the actual floor space in the room, and the 42" plasma TV on the wall dwarfs the room making it seem a bit more stuffy. The bathroom is all in one wet room so when you shower the whole floor gets soaked, so the next person goes to use the toilet and gets wet feet or socks! Also the bathroom door is frosted glass and you can pretty much see the other person using the toilet.

Like I say it's not that bad if you don't mind living so closely cooped up with someone else if your sharing a room. I will warn you though that when the weather is hot the room is hot! Especially if like me you use a hairdryer your best of standing outside in the hallway!! lol

I would rather pay a little bit more for a better room somewhere else. But on the plus side its right round the corner from Broad Street and the Royal Symphony Hall ect and not far from the train station!
