Only 4 star UVA. Get a cheaper, better brand with 5 star UVA Aldi, Lidl or Wilkinsons all good to go.

Is the spray and cream bottles both only 4 star?

Aldis is better and cheaper than Nivea. Came out as one of the best on independent tests. I've used the spray many times, good consistency and easy to apply. (edited)

Is Aldi’s Maximum 5 star UVA protection? This one isn’t

Is the Aldi stuff any good? I’ve never tried it before…

Boots own brand offers better protection and is a lot cheaper too.

Always go for the best 50spf and regularly reapply if out in the sun.

Also important to note, to apply the suncream and wait 20 minutes before being exposed to the sun.

You can get comparable for about £3.25 in B&M and Homebargains, and think this one is actually £4.29

Been using this stuff for years and it was always my go to brand until a few weeks ago where i used Garnier ambre solaire lotion.

In comparison this is very oily compared to Garnier. I now only use nivea for arms legs and garnier on head/face. (edited)

This does NOT have Maximum 5 star UVA protection
Even the Boots Soltan SPF50 has Maximum 5 star UVA protection
    Piranha_Plant's avatar
This Nivea one protects against both forms of UV rays, look for a 5 star UVA rating sunscreen!

People should be buying a physical type of sunscreen that offers better and safer protection against the sun. If you don’t know what I mean, please do your research on chemical vs physical sunscreen. (edited)

You may find the sprayer works briefly - for one spray. The lotion is too thick as we found out three weeks ago in America

Tbf I used the same one last year for Orlando and three bottles lasted fine for two weeks.

Didn’t get a tan so must have been doing something right !
