£4 off (click to apply the promotion). No batteries needed for the button or the receiver (receiver plugs in). I got tired of replacing the battery every few months on my existing doorbell so this is a great solution. 5* reviews

No batteries? How does it work then?

When the person pressing the button doesn't hear the bell he bangs on the door instead so no need for a battery.

What's the bell end like?

Uses a capacitor by the look of it

I clicked the link. Received plugs in to socket. The doorbell is powered via the button being pressed transferring this mechanical energy in to electrical.

The 'bell' part, that makes the sound is plugged into a wall socket.

The button part your visitor presses uses the motion of pressing and releasing the button to create enough energy to send off a signal to sound the bell.

I prefer knockers

Thanks, my parents have needed a new bell for quite literally years. Might as well try this!

Apologies @Chet . Meant to heat this deal but fat fingers conspired with noddy tiny heat+/cold- buttons on the APP to mark as cold

Had the 2 receivers option (£16.99) in my Amazon basket & was looking to report as new deal when i stumbled upon your deal.
Kindly assume heated . Thanks !

The push button is much bigger than usual as it has to be so make sure you have room for it.
