No Man’s Sky - PS4 - Sainsbury’s - £9.99 In Store

I’ve seen a few No Man’s Sky deals recently, and I’ve heard there’s an update coming to enhance gameplay and whatever.
On PS store it’s currently on for £15 I’ve noticed, so I thought for anyone who prefers or don’t mind physical copies Sainsbury’s are selling for £9.99. I’ve seen in the past these have been selling cheaper preowned elsewhere, but having a search this seems the cheapest.
Never played the game myself but I did pick this up thinking it might be cool.

This game has gone from strength to strength...

It’s gone from weak to strength. To imply it started strong is false.
Still £9.99 too expensive.

Bargain at this price I paid more 2nd hand a while back
Still £9.99 too expensive.
Fair play to the Devs, they're updating it far quicker than elite dangerous.

Once they add vr support I'll give it a shot
Is the xbox one version this price?

But he did it.
I know a lot of people were unhappy with the initial release but I still enjoyed the experience I had with it and it's great to see it's just getting better as time goes on. Worth the tenner.

Well it's gone from weak (but still playable and I enjoyed it) to strength (after the first 3 updates) to strength (the excellent NEXT update) So I guess you could argue that it's gone from strength to strength if you start in the middle!

Yep I agree, but better late than never

Short answer: massively upgraded multiplayer/base building, commanding freighters, new story elements, graphical upgrade, yes, worth getting for a tenner

Long answer: nomanssky.com/nex…te/

I’ll tell you what it’s done. Removed all my upgrades, lost all my resources and stranded me in a part of the universe full of dead planets with nothing I need to get me anywhere.
Enjoyed the game when I first got it but it was quite limited. The new update sounds good so will dive back in and have another look. Well worth £10 of anyone's money though 🏻
I'd say it's well worth it for £10. I bought the game when it launched, got to the centre of the universe and then sold it. I got it again recently from shop.to for £10 also and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of content added. I only had a chance to take a peek yesterday after 1.5 patch which overhauled the game and, behold, even more stuff added. I have sunk 45h since I got it recently. For a tenner you won't be disappointed

This game had a disastrous launch and was terrible at first, but the content updates (particularly the latest one that came out yesterday) have turned this game into something actually really awesome. Loving it so far!

Basically, the game got bad press at launch because a lot of features were promised but weren't in there. About 80% of them now are in there.

It's a weird situation really. If they hadn't launched and pissed everyone off they'd have run out of money and the game wouldn't exist at all. It should have been an early access title but that's not really an option when you've taken funding from sony.
i like space and science fiction but im not a big sims fans

this i need to mine a million different things continually to make sure i have all the resources to operate my technology

for me that is a pain, im a shallow type i just want guns and space pirating can this do that ?

Also if anyone is struggling to get a copy at Sainsbury's, Smyth's Toys are also selling for £10 🏾

Creative Mode, added in the previous update, prevents grind while letting you just play around in the universe, build bases, deform land and fight space pirates.

I’m glad I never sold my copy, I enjoyed the original game and sounds much more involving now.

Well it could have been worse. You could have been stranded on a planet with Whispering Eggs and Horrors.

Still £9.99 too expensive.

Ridiculous to think this price is too much still, absolute bargain. Heat!
