No mans sky for Xbox one.

Gained a poor reputation when first released however there has been over 4 large updates over the 2 years since release and the game is looking very good as of lately with major visual overhauls and the introduction of 4 player multiplayer

£34.99is the cheapest available and Smyths give a £5 discount when collecting from in store. £10 cheaper than the digital version from Microsoft. Purchasing on disc will also allow a resale if the game is not to your taste

Also available to amazon prime members for £33 delivered.

Shocking price for a 2 year old game that's not that great
Lol £30 for no man's sky.

Not voted as I'm sure this is probably cheapest available, but it's still ridiculous imo.
Haha talk about Nintendo Tax....

oh oh hang on.....
£30 for a two year old game isn't too bad when you consider Nintendo are charging £50 for their 5 year old Wii U to Switch ports.

Actually wonder of the updates are on the disc or you will have download them all.

They really have some balls giving this a 2nd chance. If they have so much faith in it it may be worth a go, but definitely not at this price. It may be new to this console but it's available so much cheaper on PlayStation, I can't see many people buying it based on that.

I feel like it's overpriced by £10, but you can't doubt the commitment of the Devs. This might be the game they promised. It was more like an early access game on release.

Terrible game. Needs to be buried in an unmarked grave in the desert.

As mentioned in post, they have added a lot of new free dlc content which has completely overhauled the game and it is already being deemed “No Mans Sky 2” with the new update releasing next week.
Ps4 version was a complete pile.. yeah they are releasing loads of updates for it and the Xbox had this included, but forget pre ordering.. this is one to definitely wait for the reviews before buying to see if they have finally managed to turn it into an actual game you want to play...

I wouldn't pay this price but did pre-order the game earlier today from the Argentina xbox store for £13, seems worth a go at that price.

Is that safe
Take 3 x £10 notes out of the cash machine and play with those. You'll have minutes more fun.
Althought i havent played it, i will be playing it soon once the multiplayer is added.

They could of just walked away after it flopped, fairplay to them for sticking with it and trying make something good out of it.
Wait wait wait

The son of major Nelson would dig it up in 20 years.
Relax. The price is absolutely fine.

Heat from me
Waiting for it to drop to £5 on ps4 before id consider buying it.
It's a pretty and relaxing game in short bursts, in my opinion.
There's no real point or objective though really, so it didn't compel me to carry on after a few hours.
I might give it another go when the next update goes live next week.
For those saying the game is terrible.. Go look at what they've updated in with in the last 2 years and what's coming Tuesday. Basing your opinion on what you played 2 years ago to what's in it today is a bit stupid but people right
I enjoyed the original release. Got a good 50 hours out of it without all these new updates.
To all the moaners, the devs at least stuck around to fix their game when most other devs would of abandoned it and moved on. Really think people need to get off their high horse on hating it just cause that is the popular thing to do
@birko why have you expired this deal when it is still live on smyths website?

Agreed, I'm on 170 hours over 2 game modes and see something new every time I play. The amount of stuff and things to do in this game is insane and that's before this huge update... all this hate is a bit of a joke, Sean Murray might have said the wrong things before this game launched but we all make mistakes and i'm sure every 1 of us has done at some point and said the wrong thing. Unfortunately his went out to millions of people. Also Sony didn't help by pushing the game to launch before it was ready which Murray has also eluded too. Sometimes things are out of your control.

These are my opinions and am sure plenty won't agree but feel this game needs a few people to defend it, Some of these comments are absurd and might deny some people a game they may well enjoy a lot!

I'll say this though, look what Minecraft is now compared to when it came out.
Birko thanks for the post - you were on for a badge with the amount of comments on here.... but they were all deleted.

welcome to HUKD... you’ll get used to the place and the way it’s run.

Don't work like that. You put the deal up so got to keep it up until smyths change price.
Well, it’s still infinitely better than Sea of Thieves. Even the original launch version
Already have it on ps4, put a good 20-30hr in it after the few big updates they did last year, it was ok. Having seen the NEXT update trailer though, due to come out in a few days, I'm actually looking forward to going back in and start a new game afresh!

As disappointing as the game was when it first came out after all the promises, good on them for sticking to it and finally give us what was essentially promised!
Like a lot of games it never quite lived up to the hype
What exactly is the purpose of the game? I play Sea of Thieves (Most contentless game EVER) Yet still enjoy it as the PVP aspect can be fun so what about NMS?

Thanks

Depends on what you want to do, you can be an explorer, visit many planets and systems to see what the game throws up. Scan everything on these worlds to earn money. You can be a trader, mine resource and then sell to earn money. Build a base and start farming, combine what you farm to make items to sell, these items can be worth a lot of money, as you progress through the game you will acquire random blu prints, these will be used to improve your suit, ship or weapon. There is also blu prints for random formula which can be crafted with the proper ingredients, this could be something that will be worth a lot of money, in turn the money can be used to buy a better ship or gun or even a freighter. You can also be a pirate, fly about space and take down bounty' s that way to earn more money. There is a story to follow, side missions to Do, aliens to communicate with which is easier the more you learn of there language. IMO loads to keep you entertained. The actual point of the game is get to the centre of the universe, tbh I might never be there lol

Hope this helps

Elite dangerous is better in my opinion but you really need horizons to get the best out of it
I think this looks a good game now, I don't much care what it was like in 2016, I didn't buy it then. Heat added, well done op
This is actually a pretty decent game now. I have been playing it since launch and the amount of effort the devs have put into it is staggering tbh. All free updates too if it was EA these would have been paid for as DLC. For £30 it’s a lot of game especially with the new update. Just a shame it had such a rotten start as it’s a far superior game now.
