I have this, it's amazing and got me right out of the poop quite a few times, I got it for a specific reason and to use on multiple vehicles, (during which it performed brilliantly), however there's a few things you need to weigh up before you think you might need one.
Firstly, it's about the price of a new battery, so would it be better just to buy a new battery for your vehicle?.
Secondly, if it's going to sit around for a long period of time without being used it will lose its charge, and in order for it to be effective, it needs to be fully charged, after it gets to about 75%, its less effective.
Thirdly, (as in my case), once you don't need it, it will sit in the very nice carry bag that comes with it, in a drawer or your car and the full charge it may have in it will drain.
It's a great product, that worked well for me, and was very useful for the time I needed it, and in my case it pretty much paid for itself with usefulness. And it's always there if I need it again, (providing I understand it will need fully charging before it will perform well). (edited)

I had the Noco battery packs before and they failed just out of warranty, I now have a TopDon JS2000 which has 2000 amps peak compared to the 500 amps the Noco has and the TopDon can be bought for £80 ish pounds when they have discount codes, the TopDon knocks spots off the Noco's.

I got this one recently after reading a lot of negative reviews on the NOCO versions. Comes complete with various leads and plugs to suit most other devices you would charge from a power bank so its not going to sit in a drawer unused.

I've got the gb70 2000amp. Sat in my boot for over a year and still flick started my Merc 3.2 diesel. Even after 5 jumps it still hasn't dropped from the green max light. I'll never buy a new battery again so long term it will more than pay for itself 😄

Note that the GB20 isn't recommended for diesels - NOCO suggest at least the GB40 for them
    Markoffski63's avatar
I just realised, it's the gb40 I have, not this model lol, but the principle remains the same, keep it fully charged, otherwise it's less effective.

I went with a topdon js3000 , reviews are excellent . But pricey . I have had 4 different brands and they have all failed . inc noco... Because I don't drive much ( due to disability ). I do get a flat battery from time to time ( Landrover 300 tdi 2.5l ) . Amazon are very rarely the cheapest place to buy from

Bit shocking but contradicts the amazon reviews I guess

Regarding the no good for diesel comments, as per my post recently, this sport / base model started my 2.0L diesel no problem at all.

Lots of Sealey models available with 15% off via current ebay code. e.g. this 800A one for £70 ebay.co.uk/itm…983 (edited)

Never had any issues with Noco to those saying 'a lot of negative reviews' remember that Amazon merges the wrong reviews for wrong items as their AI is a fail. Your random brand starters and chargers are cheap for a reason. Noco cables alone are double the thickness
