About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Good price on this, 25% off on Amazon. Just bought this to keep my battery topped up as now working from home and car not used as much. Just fit it to your car or bike and leave it plugged in to keep your battery maintained. Can also be used as a stand alone charger but it won't be fast as it's only 1A but it will get the job done. This is a smart charger and is designed for 12-volt sealed lead-acid automotive, marine, leisure, and deep-cycle batteries, including flooded, gel, AGM, EFB, SLA, VRLA, start-stop and maintenance-free batteries. Gets lots of 5 star reviews. I have the Genius 10 and it's been superb, hopefully this will be the same.

I'm using it as a maintenance charger so don't need 2A (I already have the Genius 10) so saved £5. Yes if your not using it in this way then the 2A will be the better option. (edited)

Can the 2a and 5a just charge a flat battery quicker than this? Also these a low you to recharge without physically removing the battery from the car right.?

If you aren’t trickle charging it’s wise disconnecting the battery to isolate car electronics. Consideration should also be given to gases released from the battery during charging.

I picked up one of these from Amazon for slightly cheaper earlier this year. Its a great wee trickle charger/maintainer for motorcycle batteries.

It's worth noting the clamps can be removed and the charging lead can be attached to the battery permanently. The lead can then be tucked under the bike seat and plugged into the charger when needed.
The build quality is good and it's not missed a beat.

I have a more powerful one for the car batteries but in my opinion, this is good charger for the above application.
