TCB does payout on these handsets. I've been trading these into Cex for vouchers. Then using the payg credit and turning them into PSN credit. Top up £5.50 (50p covers the text message) to add to the original £10 credit, then turn the £15 payg credit into £15 PSN credit. youtube.com/wat…55s

eh?

With the PSN credit I accumulated with these phones, I've bought digital copies of the physical games that I've already own. Then I've traded in the physical games into Cex vouchers.
For those wondering about this deal, it is a FREE phone, if you top up £10.

So you effectively pay £10, however you can do what you want with that credit, personally I top up my PSN wallet with it.

TCB will pay £5 per order, speaking from experience they track more often then not, and then I just sell the phones to CEX as currently they sell for £13 each. So it is easy money.
I think the title confused the mods.

It is free if you buy £10 of credit. However you should also get £5 TCB.

I find if you just call the network they'll just add the like 15p on for you, saves having to use any money at all then
Are these unlocked and does anyone know the maximum order limit?

I swapped physical copies into digital. Then traded the physical copies into Cex vouchers.
Does the £10 Vodafone credit expire and does it need to be topped up on a rolling basis?
I have done this before with TC will they give me £5 again?

Every time I see a phone like this, I think I should rewatch Breaking Bad again. Or score some crack.

I've done the same, no problem with cex. However last time CPW refused to give me the handsets as they said they've got a 3 PAYG handset limit. I think if I selected home delivery there wouldn't have been an issue.
Does anyone buy these & sell to cex for profit?

I tried to do this last time with the EE sims but whenever I texted STOPPACK and checked balance it was £0. Tried with multiple SIMS, not quite sure what happened.

Next thing you do is wait upto 48 hours, if your £10 credit doesn't appear then you contact CPW. They will add £10 credit to your account and then you got to go into a store and tell them that you've £10 credit waiting. They check this and they'll give you your missing £10 credit.

I've bought five handsets and on one occasion I had to do this.

The Vodafone £10 is a £10 monthly bundle, so you can't easily stop the credit being converted. I'm aware that's been possible with EE, but without trying to talk a Vodafone CS representative into giving you back £10 of credit, you won't have £10 of credit.

I seem to remember reading on here somewhere that you have to use a non 3G phone or a non internet enabled phone or something like?
I use an old Samsung e-something and the Stop Pack has worked for me on the EE sims
I bought a load of these. Sent me the 4th generation.
How many cameras does it have?
Anything else useful that the Vodafone credit can be used for? Converted to anything else other than PSN ?

Also, how long is the £10 balance valid for, run out after a month?
Can you cashout as PSN credit or another way as with EE?

You mean you have to get Voda to unlock them for you?

It's a £10 bundle, so you don't actually get the credit to use.

You can't use the credit for anything other than the bundle it's automatically used for, unless you want to try to talk round a Vodafone rep to giving you it back.

Good luck with PSN, tried this about 18 months ago from a deal on here. Was told no longer able to convert to PSN so good that some have got it working but look on it as a bonus.CEX route not a bad option but not sure what their bulk buy policy is.
Can I get this topup set to proper PAYG, or is it hard wired to a monthly bundle that means in a month's time there is none left? Asking because I want a phone to give to DofE groups for emergencies only and this would be useful. But if the credit is gone in a month then its not much use at all.

I'm pretty sure if you rang Voda customer service and asked them, they'd oblige.
