Was looking for a basic mobile for my dad and came accross this one The Nokia 108. Gets good reviews as well.. Seems to be around the £15/20 mark everywhere else but Tesco direct doing it for £7.00 at the moment with free click and collection from your local store.

Packed with reliable functions and features, the Nokia 108 is incredibly thin and lightweight.

Equipped with a 0.3 megapixel camera, the 108 can capture photos that can be shared easily with Slam. This application lets you transfer your images to another compatible Bluetooth® device in an instant.

You can also listen to a range of different content thanks to the 108's built-in FM radio and music player, complete with up to 32GB of expandable memory (microSD). And with up to 31 days of standby time, the Nokia 108 lets you go for longer between charges.

I know it's probably irrelevant to most people looking to buy this phone, but be aware that even though the phone has Bluetooth it's only capable of transferring files. It is not possible to pair an audio device - headset, BT speaker etc. because the phone doesn't have the appropriate BT profile.

It's only 2.99 at carphone warehouse as a payg upgrade on Vodafone, if you know someone who won't use one of their permitted upgrades for anything better.
is this locked to Vodafone? thanks
it is locked to Vodafone, very expensive to unlock...

The o2 one is £10, so its £3 more hardly going to break the bank and it has a bigger screen for your dad. The only thing is it will be locked to 02 but 02 have a few mvno's for cheaper calls.
I needed the Vodafone one.
