Can be unlocked for a few quid from eBay

just checked with Voda Live chat. I used this scenario, it is a Nokia 150 from Argos locked to Voda can i unlock?

He told me, unlocks are free as long as you have had the sim activated for over 30 days and have made 1 chargeable call. Ive got an old sim, arent sure about the chargeable call.

I was told to contact back in 2 hours since they are upgrading their systems or they are down and i could give my numbers so they could check if I have made any chargeable calls and if I would be entitled to a free unlock.

This may help someone out!

Voda Live Chat Rep: Yes, after purchasing Nokia 150 from Argos, you just need to buy free Vodafone pay as you go SIM card and top up with minimum £5.00 and use the services for 30 days and then fill online Network Unlock form and your phone will be unlocked to all network.

Thanks. They had removed fast track for last 6 months for payg mobiles. Now its back. Hope it is not a glitch.

So the no top up required, does that mean once youve topped it up with a tenner you dont have to top it up until it runs out? Like have to add credit every month etc? This Would be perfect for my dad who is a massive technophobe and would literally use it once a month if that lol

the 'no top-up required' means that when you purchase the phone a top up is not needed, i believe if you go through fast track. It's good for those who want the phone without paying £10 extra for a top up too (like me)

Of course if you were to buy it, you could use any vodafone sim and top up any amount you want and that credit would be yours until it runs out, no need to top up again, as long as you make a call or text within 6 month otherwise they close the number down.

hope that is a bit more clear now
Does anyone know if it has a decent speaker for playing music or audio files without headphones?

"Network provider: Lebara" so £10 Voda or Lebara top-up? Probably irrelevant cos it will run out of charge seconds after it is turned on unless it has exceptionally frugal use of its "10.2mAh battery capacity."

Up to 31 days standby or 22 hours of talk time is fairly frugal

Thank hun xx with having a contract phone myself i dont know how payg phones work nowadays. Gone are the days of genie and nokia 3310 lol
Hi, will this work on 3G?
No WiFi connectivity. Which is fine if you’re not using it for surfing. But if you wanted to download music directly on it then it may be an issue for some. You could still do via Bluetooth or the SD Card though. Still a good deal regardless
Unlock code seems to be around £3.50 on eBay
Anyone had cancellations email from argos with a fast track order?

If Nokia can coax 31 days standby from a 10mAh battery they should quit making phones and knock-out their hyper-performance batteries instead, lol.
