Nokia 2 just came out yesterday on carphone wearhouse, its for £79.99 and £15 a month on o2 its one month contract and if you go thru topcashbck you might get around £50 cashback,, so after getting cashback , the phone only cost £30 which is very cheap, you could cancel contract stright away after you get your phone.

For nearly £80 the specs of this phone are really scraping the bottom of the barrel. You're pretty much just paying for the Nokia name.

Even with the Nokia name, it means nothing as Microsoft own Nokia as far as I'm lead to believe.

And if you cancelled the contract as you suggested, you'd get done for fraud, hardly the cleverest idea, is it?
Nokia now on Android which is a different world compared to their awful windows phones, I bought the Nokia 5 for £99.99 on payg O2 an absolute bargain, it also runs on giffgaff.

Fair play to you, I never realised that they did such a thing as 1 months contract, therefore, I suppose it might be ok for the grandparents and kids.

Don't mind me, I read that wrong.

You're very wrong. On 18 May 2016, Microsoft Mobile sold its Nokia-branded feature phone business to HMD Global.

I worked that out after reading topdeals81's comment, cheers
Seems a bit expensive for what it is. 8GB storage and 1GB RAM is quite poor. If it was £59.99 it would be ok.

A company called HMD global now license the Nokia name. Nothing to do with Micro$oft anymore.

Even if I had only £59 in my pocket I'd probably pick up something like an old Nexus 5 and put Lineage on it. 1GB on this Nokia is a joke.

Yea, I don't understand why this doesn't have Android Go like the Nokia 1. At least it would make it more usable

Totally agree Chancool. I remember some reviews of the Nokia 3 slating the CPU speed so this will be even worse. Its decisions like this which give Android a bad name.
